NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Shame. Great player and seemed like a good dude. Cruel amount of injuries for a quarterback.

Luck retiring! Clearly the years of injuries have taken their toll and he's had enough.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Just checked the league for the first time in ages and not sure if someone has dropped out? We now have one space left in the league if anybody still wants to sign up? not sure what happens if we go in a team down could fuck the whole thing up. Draft is set for 7pm Sept 1st!

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Antonio brown really is a head case isnt he? Got frostbite on his feet because he refused to wear the correct shoes when going into his Cryo chamber for recovery and hasnt been able to train properly since. Now he's threatening to retire fromt he league as they say his old helmet no longer qualifies for the new player safety laws, which he had a year's notice about. he even hired someone to paint his old steeler's helmet to match the Raiders' ones so he could try and wear it without anybody noticing. All this after showing up to the first day of training camp in a hot air balloon. At least Hard knocks should be worth a watch"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Apparently he has been around the league for a while even with the Dirty Birds and Tampa Bay but the Saints preseason game is the first time I heard my name of the month - Jacquizz Rodgers Although it comes just ahead of another camp hopeful: Lil'Jordan Humphrey

"Saw that this morning. Got some speed and some moves. Good to see, and would be nice if he made a career for himself over there. It was his only carry, but he definitely made it count. Huge hole to run through though!"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Anyone see former Wasps and England winger Christian Wade score a touchdown for the Bills? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/49289561

"Just placing my annual 8 fold division winners acca, some divisions very hard to call this year particularly the NFC north and east. Gone for: AFC East - Patriots (strong favourites) AFC North - Steelers ( 2nd favourites behind the browns?!) AFC West - Chiefs (Favourites) AFC South - Colts (Close favourites) NFC East - Cowboys (2nd favourites behind the Eagles) NFC North - Bears (close favourites) NFC West - Rams ( Favourites) NFC South - Falcons (big odds 2nd favourites behind the Saints)"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Don't forget Marty Lyons and Abdul Salaam. It was the whole front four of the defensive line. Beasts. Every one of them. Klecko and Gastineau were off their rockers, though, granted. Klecko changed from defensive end, where he led the league in sacks, to defensive tackle (inside) when his knee gave out - and promptly went straight to the Pro Bowl with his performances in his new position. Guy could play anywhere on the front line and cause absolute mayhem."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Except those late hits by the Sack Exchange. ""Upon review of the play, they have all been declared legal. First down..."" Gotta love Joe Klecko and Mark Gastineau"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
For the record as a couple of people have said they dont want to put money in for the fantasy league and honestly i have no idea what the best way of collecting/chasing people for said money would be i'm not going to bother. Just have to trust that everyone will maintain interest enough without the cash incentive

"With things like the Butt Fumble, we're shit enough as it is: we don't need the refs and NFL giving a bunk-up to already-superior teams."
