What do we reckon for the League Cup semis then?

I have a feeling Arsenal will turn over Newcastle and get to the final. Seems like the Geordies are already planning their Trafalgar Square piss up...can see Arsenal shocking them.

As for Spurs, I think that lead from the 1st leg is absolutely vital for them. Can see them battling for a draw at Anfield, and progressing to the final.

A NLD in the cup final would be a sight to behold. Bit of a lose/lose for us whoever wins.

I will maybe watch the second leg of these knock out games in the CL but up until now have not really followed or even watched highlights of that ridiculous league format, even more stupid than the 4 team leagues they used to have, the only good thing is no more teams dropping down a comp for finishing 3rd out of 4.

Hard to say, Potter at Chelsea was called a fraud nearly every Weekend football thread on here with every bad performance... But he's here now and nobody thinks that.. Arteta was called it at Arsenal, Howe at Newcastle...

Bournemouth were ridiculed on here for sacking their manager and employing Iraola, so hard to say isn't it, may need time may just be the wrong fit.

Really leaves a nasty taste in the mouth this, shocking for the lino to miss it, but it's done now and as hard as it is you can only accept it's happened and move on, absolutely gut wrenching though. Also, I've not seen it said elsewhere but I thought the handball award for the initial free kick was harsh.
