NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"southbank, but a strong running game would be a big benefit to darnold as he gets comfortable. someone who can get 1000+ yards a year will open up space for the youngster"

"Btw, I'm basing that analysis on the fact (and it is a fact) that the Jets are so poor offensively at the moment that, having invested so draft capital in Darnold, they have to prioritise a solid passing game first. A running game boosted by somebody as talented as Bell would be a luxury, although one we could afford. We have huge cap room next season - around $115m."

"Jets more likely to focus their cash on providing Darnold with some aerial weapons under a new coach next season, but that's only of they choose an offensive minded new head coach. If they sack Bowles (which they will) and replace him with another DC or defensive HC, then expect a non-plussed new coach to play safe and opt for a strong running game - in which case Bell may well be on his way to New York. Personally, I think the Jets have to throw everything behind giving Darnold every chance to shine in the NFL. That means getting him a #1 receiver, and an offensive line that will keep him healthy. Bell would be a luxury, although he is a fine player."

"We'd probably take him. We seem to keep taking chances on people constantly being arrested. Guess it's what happens when you're always having more bad seasons than good, you make bad decisions in the hope of changing people. These loons aren't for changing."

"Ahh yeah forgot about the rookie, There were only a few teams who hd the cap room to sign bell at the trade deadline but obviously moving into next season almost anybody will be able to make the caproom for him, just if anyone is willing to take him on and pay him, proven time and time again you can get good running backs in the draft for a fraction of the cost"

"we drafted guice so him and peterson + thompson & perine will be the backs. was just wondering who can afford him, plenty of teams have a decent back, maybe the raiders will also go there or the seahawks? maybe he won't get signed if goodell bans him for half the season"

"we've got a running back, we don't need him, and fuck off with the 'you don't mind signing them bollocks'. every franchise has dubious characters and as far as i know, foster is no nearer playing again than me at the moment"

Can we still trade? I'm holding Kelce and Ebron at TE and need WR2 or RB2.

Apparently this happened in february and both the team and the league were aware of it but nothing has happened! Seems like they've tried to cover it up like the Ray Rice incident and then been found out when video comes up later

"Another nice bloke, by the look of that video. What is it with these guys? Don't get me wrong - we don't know what that was all about, what was said/done, and how irritating, or not, that woman is/was. But nobody deserves that. The idiot even kicks her once she's already on the floor."
