"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

Will they draft us a team anyway. And we play with what they give us.
Maybe in the move over from the old WHO things got confused.

"Yeah, go on, count me in for the fantasy league thingy. Same as last year: NY Spack Exchange. I'm staying schtum about the Jets more weeks than most this year. Every time I think they've got their shit together one of the owners, coaches or players usually does something so epically stupid or poor that the season ends in an instant. So I'm just going to pretend I support somebody else, while privately suffering the usual Jets-related meltdown. GO ARIZONA! How about them...er...[checks book] angry birdy things..?!"

"Count me in please - Feeleys Helmet I encourage you to seek out the video where Tyreek Hill gets word that he has been crowned the #1 player in that NFL top 100 thing they run every season. He gets handed the trophy and his first reaction is to call his mother; during the ensuing call he refers to himself as ""...Tyreek mother-fucking Hill""."

"Looks like the Niners have found a couple of Gems for their secondary in the draft, just what we needed. Winters at MLB is getting some love too. The D should be improved this year. On offense the RB position is stacked with yet another undrafted free agent turning heads, need Trent Williams back in the fold asap though. At the end of the day I think Aiyuk will sign with the Niners again, just not for the money he is asking. 28 mill a year sounds like a good compromise. Looking forward to tonight's game. On a positive note my youngest will be playing at SoFI stadium on October 4th against Long Beach Poly high school, something to look forward to and remember. Can't wait for football season to start."

"we ended up signing undrafted QB Sam Hartman, handing him a rare 250k guaranteed contract and 20k signing fee. great lad and pleased he round a home, but not sure he'll ever be anything more than a decent back up, but the female & bandit population in washington will be very happy üòÇ"

"Had a whiz around some of the commentary on the QB that the Jets picked up in the 5th Round, Jordan Travis. I hadn't realised he was the Florida starter who broke his leg last season. This kid has some serious talent. But got his injury, he would probably have been a 3rd round pick most years. Quick, mobile, decent arm, decent mechanics etc. Looks a bit Russell Wilson (early version). You never know how players respond to injury, but this could be a real bargain. He can sit for a year or two and learn from one of the best ever, Rodgers, and then - if he's good enough - slot in. If he isn't good enough, well, it's no big loss on a 5th round pick. Joe Douglas on the money once again."

"Couple of decent low-round picks for the Jets to finish off the draft: Allen (RB) is a powerful runner who will be effective in short yardage situations. He can also block, so gives options in two-back line-ups. Stiggers is a solid defensive back. Already played in Canada's league (not as strong obviously), and is a pro already. So he's used to the training, discipline and grind. It'll be a step up for him, but he's already halfway up that step. We also took a project QB (Travis). Don't know a lot about him, but we took him in the 5th round - so it's hardly a risk. You never can tell, but that looks like a solid, unspectacular draft for the Jets. It's a Joe Douglas draft, which was needed. Our issue is always what happens when college kids with talent meet our coaches! Saleh knows his defence. But is our backroom staff good enough (particularly on offense)?"

A safety and CB. Solid pick's for holes that needed to be filled. Rome wasn't built in a day. And Big Blue certainly wasn't.! GO GMEN.
