"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

"Fo the Communist 3:18 Fri Jul 30 You seem to try to get me to think you were a very naive, lazy journalist with most of your post. And that is not you, you carefully insert your political views into most posts. Lots of thing are raw and emotive - like the police experience in many protests/riots - if you frame it that way. Is also raw and emotive if you frame it from the protester's point of view. It is the height of naivety or deception to pretend you cannot make things emotive or not on on side or the other. It is not a US government investigation by the way - is the showplace of Congressional hearings, there is no burden of proof. And the government is not a Congressional Committee."

"Capitol. They don't make me cry, they make me angry. But people like you just let it slide by which is great until one day you realise that a lot of things that you once took for granted are no longer acceptable. But hey stay quiet and say nothing that's exactly what the citizens of Germany did in the 1930s."

FOMB - there’s a channel to pander to you whiny little victims. Even appears to be a section on how people are being mean to you - how those wokies give you wobbly lips. How are you not embarrassed to post this stuff.

"Irons. All I can say is, in my experience, two of the biggest factors governing the output of news outlets is 1 - what the rest of the media are running with and 2 - convenience. I am not saying that is how it should be, I am saying that's how it is. I would share your suspicion if this story was of no importance or interest but that's just not the case. This was emotive, raw testimony from an ongoing US government investigation into one of the most remarkable news events of our time."

"The BBC will do 2 things - 1) Not allow any opinions from viewers, they only allow this when the team wins. 2) Tell you what a brave fight the ladies put up against Australia."

"Fo the Communist 2:59 Fri Jul 30 I'm well aware of the process of how stuff is streamed having served part of my apprenticeship monitoring just such events when it meant tearing down telephone lines to bring such feeds into the country. These days there are multiple sources and multiple recipients; a UK news station, for instance can decide to take it's US feeds from one of many similar commercial ventures in the USA. Each will have their own particular slant they want on news coming out of the US."

"Fo Again what the headline is and whether it is highlighted, put on the front page, is a concious and important choice. It doesn't just happened and it did not happen with other international important events involving police. So repeatedly and shruggingly going to the lazy journalist well does not cut it. There are choices being made; it is naive or deceptive to pretend there isn't."

"Mike It would have been reproduced by news outlets in the same way that that UK outlets take stuff streamed from the Houses of Parliament. You don't think PMQs, for instance, is conducted in front of banks of TV news cameras do you? It is about as cheap and convenient a way of filling schedules as you can get. And in the case in point, it also happens to be coverage of an investigation into what, by anyone's standards, were truly remarkable events. Frankly it would have been very suspicious if this coverage hadn't been aired."

I just rang the West Ham ticket office. I notice the hold music is a new version of Bubbles sung with very obvious black voices.

"One of the best reviewers on YT is Critical Drinker. Here is his take on the last episode of Dr Who - The Timeless Children, in which he manages to reference a teddy bear with an 18"" black dildo for a head and razor blades on his legs in order to get his point across. If you don't have time, just watch the first three minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlGQgfXtC40"

I'm still trying to work out who decides the point at which an employee becomes more important to the commercial company employing them that the job they are employed to do.

"Fo the Communist 4:43 Thu Jul 29 That stream didn't send itself. Somebody had to decide to select it then send/offer it to potential recipients. Potential right there for bias to creep in and agenda led censorship to rear it's head - which, I assume, is fine & dandy if you don't happen to agree in the first place with the ideas being censored."

"Canada, if I looked at this footage of an officer being dragged out into the crowd and lynched, I'd feel ashamed if I was a Trump supporter like you. I wouldn't be whining about how unfair the media is. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9132649/Footage-reveals-moment-police-officer-dragged-MAGA-mob-leads-away.html But, as Defjam said, it's doubtful whether right-wingers are even capable of shame. Just self-pity and whining, as this thread illustrates."

"Irons. Point is, those stories about the Capitol police didn't appear because a news organisation decided to run a story and seek the individuals out for comment. The story ran because it was part of an ongoing process that was conveniently streamed right into their newsrooms. Easy copy that was soon displaced by the next thing that landed in their lap. Enjoy the game."

Did anything happen with the plot to kidnap Grechen Whitmer? Or has that been pushed down a hole now?

"Fo the Communist 3:59 Thu Jul 29 I do obviously get less objective when I talk about it but I hope I have never said I believe that hers is a news story because that would be the story for someone somewhere every single day. The stories I have compared it to were I think...comparable and some more local. There have been various inquiries into those, the police's side was not given the same coverage. And again deaths should change the equation if only for the legitimate reason that the dead cannot tell their own story like these officers can. Reason I explicitly avoided the comparison. My point is that when you have a clash of police and an ""other"" the police coverage shift depending on the politics of the other. The BLM protests were ""international, historic and unprecedented"" but I did not see a lot of coverage of the well-being of officers in the months after the fact. That is not good journalism and you can not shuffle it under the rug, as economic. In my opinion. Cheers, mate. Thanks again. I need to get some work done, I want watch a football game at 3:00am and need to do some catch up for tomorrow. Speak to you later."
