Last Gasp agree with you about Afraid Of Sunlight. I've come to regard that as Marillion's greatest achievement. it is just perfection. And I believe H still regards it as the best thing they did.

dm...... this was a first listen to A Day at The Beach. But you know sometimes after a couple of listens it can grab you. Example Afraid of Sunlight. Have to listen to that album at least once a week!

I felt that, in common with a lot of contemporary progressive rock bands, they had been listening to their Anathema albums a bit too much. Ironically of course Anathema have recently announced an indefinitely hiatus, so that may well be the end of them, which is a shame."
