"This is making me very nervous. Replaced SkyHD+ box with Sky Q and now the magic eye in the accompanying room has stopped working. Google tells me they are not compatible - but seeing as you helpful chaps seem to find ways round everything, does anyone have a remedy? I’ve wiped my knob on it but that didn’t help."

Is this a Sky Presenter edition of that program where gay chaps dress and give an image update to bland straight men?

Go to www.skygo.com and enter your details. Connect an HDMI lead from your Laptop to TV

Unfortunately that Console is way too old. Have you got a laptop?

"I have a crappy old PS3? Any good? Could you explain what I have to do, as if I’m a 5yr old retard."

The only way you can watch Sky Go on your TV is either a games console or PC/Laptop connected by HDMI

"The Magic eye works through an analogue tuner on the old Sky boxes. Sky Q is fully digital and has no RF outlet, so there is simply nothing to connect to. Sky stopped supporting magic eyes many years ago"

They want you to buy/rent a minibox instead. Sky Go is the answer.

"charleyfarley 4:54 Currently (although not for much longer) have a multi-room box in the bedroom. Tested the app on the Apple TV box and works well, as it also does on an X-box."

Can Sky Q work with a magic eye? this was back in july 2022 I can see we can no longer use the magic eye with Q. Just wondering if this be replicated with Q without purchasing multiroom? Sky are soon to launch a Sky Go app for Apple TV boxes. If you have one of those then you will be able to view Sky channels from your package on another TV without a multiscreen subscription.23 Jul 2022
