Billed on BBC breaking news as star of Harry Potter & Downton Abbey. Dumbing down
Prime of Miss Jean Brodie at least amongst her other great performances
RIP

Never watched Downtown Abbey or any Harry Potter films so not over familiar with her, but see this is pretty big news with even tributes from the king.
RIP.

Farewell to a true English Rose. (An Ilford girl no less.) Plenty of scene stealing moments. But it’s the Alan Bennet work that stands out.
RIP

One of the greats. RIP Maggie.
I met her ex Robert Stephens also a great actor many times when I lived in Primrose Hill. The Queens Head, Regent's Park Road was his local. I real pisshead mind. Their son Toby is doing well though. Was good in Black Sails.

Aye Miss Brodie had a fine Scottish accent in that movie.
