My son is out in Perth and wants a tip for the Melbourne Cup.

I’m relying on WHO tipsters.

Is one smooth operator a good shout?

Bit of an upset, expect the bookies will be dancing like there is no tomorrow though! Big payday for them....

FIRST:  Knight’s Choice 80/1 (26/1 to place)  SECOND: . Warp Speed 26/1 (7/1 to place) THIRD: . Okita Soushi 19/1 (6/1 to place)

Trifecta and Quinella odds are going to be huge!!!

If an  English horse wins . The Aussies will be livid . Especially only 3 days after the poms winning the $10 million golden slipper. Lake forest was the horse trained by Willie haggis and ridden by cieren Fallon .

It’s the race that used to stop a nation these days, very much second fiddle to what’s going on US election wise, Aussies seem fascinated with that 🙄

As to tips for the Cup, fucks knows but would have a dollar or 2 on Circle of fire! Jinxed now though 😂

For a lot of us, it's just day off, or a work day with extra pay. Not everyone cares about the race.

I was only messing.

A fraser said, it's a lottery.  So get him to go with a name or colour he likes.

I just hope he gets his brains from his mum and doesn't stab himself in the hand with the pin..

My tip to him would be to ask someone who knows something about horse racing to begin with.

It's like saying my son is in Cairo and wants to put a bet on the Derby, it's roughly the same distance

The relevance is that he has been there 3 weeks, he knows nothing about horse racing and his cricket club are having a Melbourne cup BBQ.

I appreciate your feedback though

Your son is in Perth (can't see the relevance) and wants to back a horse in the Melbourne Cup and you're asking on here?

It's like the grand national a lottery, tell him to stick a pin in the starting list.
