What do we reckon?

For me:

The Bandits South of the River (Millwall) - Home or Away

Leeds - Home
Portsmouth - Away
Plymouth Away

More games for the media friendly elite should not be planned or scheduled at the expense of games involving teams closer to football's grass roots.

All that does is make the gap between the haves and the have-nots even bigger.

Players from those elite clubs are already complaining about too many games as it is. Can't have it both ways.

In my opinion, all (ALL) national matches should take precedence over all (ALL) international/pan-national fixtures - leaving up to the international authorities to shoe-horn in their pet projects around those national fixtures.

Furthermore, I'd make the dates of national cup ties sacrosanct and immovable, save for postponements due to the weather; if cup games must be spread over 4 days, then those days should be decided by drawing balls at the same time as drawing the team names.

Of course, the media would have no truck with such ideas, such is their hold over the game.

Not a popular view, at least with the 'old school' on here, but I think it's the right call on no replays, just get it done on the day ffs. Nobody wants midweek replays and more fixtures.

*Waits for someone to cry ''well what about the small clubs'' - well they do alright just from the one game, so don't worry yourselves about them.

Do like an 8pm Friday game.

Monday night games are awful though, as are these recent midweek 20:15 kickoffs.

So West Ham fans have two trips in the FA Cup, away at Millwall and away at Villa

So the rich clubs decided there were too many games. Cut out replays, give us seeded draws in the League Cup.

Also rich clubs: expand the Champions League, expand the Club World Cup.

Just let them fuck off and have their own league.

Is that really true?

Fucking hell!

The wants of a few piss all over the pleasure of the many.

Still, I expect some cracking sponsorship deals to come out of this...

Our draw is shit as usual

If I was Man City I’d go full strength against Salford & try & knock in a dozen v Gary Neville’s lot
Liverpool v Accrington obviously appeals to milk drinkers
Hope Tottenham go to Tamworth on a shitty pitch & half dozen broken legs

Fixed or not fixed?
Of course it's fixed.

They need 4 PL sides in the semis to sell global sponsorship deals, plus they're giving Liverpool a route to clear the game of trophies this season.

Don't believe me? Just wait for the draw for the next round; nailed on City, Chelsea & Spurs will be paired off with the remaining team getting a difficult away fixture.
Must admit Ox I use to scoff when you use to say this, but for me there is no doubt about it now, just look at them fixtures, 100% fixed. They ony drew out Arsenal vs Man Utd as a bit of a ''leveler''.
Or maybe Man Utd's ball hadn't been warmed up, someone is for the chop!

No cup run for us this season.
Villa are not in the top ten, they are 12th four points above us.

You might kid yourself with that, but they've been a top 10 side for pretty much 90% of the season.  The only time they've been outside of the top 10 is this week, and the second week.

They're a very decent team.

That Tamworth fixture is screaming out for a huge upset there, as Ladyboy's main Club will have to play on a plastic pitch an all. 😁
