We can't simply accept his presence! We need to get him the fuck away from our club!

Sir Alf" wrote: ↑06 Sep 2025, 09:03 Lets hope the Fan Advisory Board that meets with Brady have some intelligent, articulate representatives who have done their homework. They will need to fully understand and have the data on other club’s scouting networks, recruitment infrastructure, how the organisation structure at clubs like Bournemouth, Brighton and Forest etc work. The processes that underpin them and the reporting relationship to their owners. Because, as Simon Jordan points out, its easier to be critical but the club will start asking “well what exactly do ypu mean by inproving scouting and recruitment”?
People with experience in business improvement and turnarounds need to be present to point out that there is no recognisable strategy, long term plan for the footballing side of the business. That is the biggest problem. Are we trying to build a side that plays an entertaining brand of football with younger players, are we, and how are we, planning to develop our own younger players and get them in the team ( recruit worldwide or locally, network of scouts? data analysis etc?). I can foresee Brady explaining all the initiatives we have launched but will she be asked how they fit into a wider strategy, how they will be inplemented, who will implement them, what previous experience those implementing so called initiatives have. A read of the countless books on why businesses fail ( eg Jim Collins has written a ton ) will expose the lack of planning, lack of an operational plan, organisation structure, skills and experience but people representing fans need to have the knowledge an know how successful clubs do it in the football world. The stadium is a subject on its own too and requires proper understanding of whats possible, costs involved. Training facilities another symptom of our lack of fotballing ambition and strategy.
If not Brady will placate the protest groups with promises of change and the challenges the club have and generally wait until “the unrest passes”, anything to avoid loosening their grip on power and resigning. In short ( not my thing admittedly) , we need to put forward well researched, coherent and constructive arguments and explanations of how a professional team of executives ( positions required like DOF etc) will replace the short term thinking the club has always been guilty of. Interesting few weeks ahead

Still, best not waste a good grudge if it gets you attention, even if it is only from me.Seems I've touched a nerve there lol

The fans each time are on the right side of history and do so for the betterment of our Club. Not the other way around.

Or they're urban middle-class dads want to expose their sons to and edgy environment and choose Brentford because it's most like Arsenal and they can get tickets.
Gladly fuck that one off boycott or not.
