Games for 18/19/20 October.

by Mike Oxsaw
May as well put this out there now as later:

18 October 2025 - 12:30
Nottingham Forest v Chelsea
League Placings: 17 v 6
Current Form Factor: 5 v 12

🎼 Bye-bye Ange, Bye-bye happiness. Hello, no success, I'll see you on the dole. 🎶
Away Win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Brighton & Hove Albion v Newcastle United
League Placings: 8 v 12
Current Form Factor: 26 v 15

The above "stats" suggest a home win, so...
Home Win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Burnley v Leeds United
League Placings: 8 v 12
Current Form Factor: 7 v 19

Contradicting "stats" here. Shame there's not an option between draw & away win.
Draw.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Crystal Palace v A. F. C. Bournemouth
League Placings: 10 v 4
Current Form Factor: 33 v 27

Close, but I suspect a sneaky 3 points here for Bournemouth.
Away Win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Manchester City v Everton
League Placings: 5 v 13
Current Form Factor: 28 v 15

Above "stats" again suggest a home win. Who am I to argue with a geek?
Home win.

18 October 2025 - 15:00
Sunderland v Wolverhampton Wanderers
League Placings: 7 v 20
Current Form Factor: 28 v 5

Wolves still hunting for that elusive first win. The hunt goes on.
Home win.

18 October 2025 - 17:30
Fulham v Arsenal
League Placings: 14 v 1
Current Form Factor: 22 v 31

Why bother? Fulham will huff & puff, but the Arsenal house will stand. Not even a chinny-chin-chin will blow the door in.
Away win.

19 October 2025 - 14:00
Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa
League Placings: 3 v 9
Current Form Factor: 21 v 10

Hoping for an away win here, bit I suspect that's all it is - hope. 3 points for the Lilywhites - but only just.
Home win.

19 October 2025 - 16:30
Liverpool v Manchester United
League Placings: 2 v 11
Current Form Factor: 30 v 19

Well. We all want Manchester United to do badly here, don't we?... DON'T WE???!!!
Home win. Hopefully an embarrassingly easy one.

20 October 2025 : 20:00
West Ham United  v Brentford
League Placings: 19 v 16
Current Form Factor: 11 v 21

We all know what we want, we all know what we need.

Will the planned boycott have an impact?

In truth, I suspect not; many will have already decided a 6-pack in front of the telly rather than partaking of the wonderful autumnal world-class evening transport connections at Stratford.

Still, home win? (*sighs*); that's what my heart says, but...
Draw.

Ag-ag-ag-ag-acca:

Wins for Chelsea, Sunderland, Arsenal & Liverpool. £11.00 stake @ about 5:1

Shit coaching defensively a lot of the time. Usually because of bullshit "zonal" marking nothing instead of focusing on your nesrest man to mark or detailed to mark.

Also a man on the post has seemed to be outlawed for some reason when it's usually effective to help block part of the goal.

The only way to tell the difference between Everton and Spurs identikit stadiums on TV is the music.

Not sure if he has been injured but Stevenage are equal top in League 1 with a game in hand so maybe just struggling to get picked
As said he played in that competition midweek where lower league teams play Premier league u21’s
They won 5-2 so he must be close to playing with a goal & 2 assists
That said I’d have sent him somewhere where they desperately needed a player like him

Made his debut during the week when they beat Palace u21’s setting up 2 goals and scoring himself
Not involved in their 1-1 draw with Bradford in the league yesterday
I've been looking at their squads each week and not seen him named, so thought he must have been injured. Has he been recovering or just being bedded in very fucking slowly.

7 minutes injury time and played 11... We had 13 minutes yesterday and 4 minutes... Both had multiple stoppages and hardly anything was added on top..

Brentford has got a team of warriors, young and energetic and a few seniors.
Quite the opposite what Sullivan has put together.

Modern day football, we wont hear the last of this for few days, the injustice of it all, especially when it comes to "big" clubs, had that been the other way around we would of had NOTHING to see here!
I won’t miss this when we are in the championship.

Amourim ? Sullivan vetoed that recommendation ( Steidten and Noble )  to insist on his preferred option Julien Lopetegui and this fatal step,  in a sequence of events, that begun in the 2022/23 season, has led to the brink of relegation. Just this season left for them to see us drop to the Championship. Sullivan and Brady’s next desperate move will most likely just push us over cliff edge even quicker.  But at least we now have a “not fit for purpose” LS and the West Ham London name to show for it !! Great work from our owner these last 10 years and an era of 15 years of glory since he “saved” us

Can we bring him back?
Cant be any worse at centre half than the chuckle brothers
Is Orford injured? I never see him selected.

I think he's out on loan. Can't remember where if he is. Earthy could be back soon though. His energy and variety could be handy as Paqueta and Summerville clearly aint up to it at the minute.
