Now THIS is a proper fucking football stadium.
The San Siro has been on my bucket list for years.
Bowled up nice and early to have a mooch about, peruse the snide merch and have some BIRRA.
Been harassed by Africans a bit but that's 21st Century Europe for you innit.
€27 a ticket.
2-1, nailed on.

Been to the San Siro a few times but working on concerts, never a game.
Answers on a postcard why the 92/93 Florentina kit was banned.

Watched Fiorentina vs Roma in 1980, Giancarlo Antognoni scored two pearler free kicks and they beat Roma 3~1.

I have a soft spot for Fiorentina...they are the Italian team that I warm to the most...they had some cracking players back in the day...Baggio, Batistuta, Brian Laudrup, Effenburg. Rui Costa, Toldo was the Goalie..
I do remember watching the odd game live in Soho at Il Panino which was a bar/sandwich shop just off Shaftesbury Avenue in the early 90's. Then Channel 4 started showing it and it took off.

Why are Milan wearing their yellow 3rd shirt at home?
Because they heard Mr Hatred was in attendance tonight on his first and only visit to the San Siro so thought they'd wind him up by not wearing their famous classic black and red Home kit. They'll go back to their normal Home kit at the next Home game just as soon as he's left. Bit petty but is funny.

You’re lucky if you get a printed ticket nowadays, let alone a programme.
Non~league football programmes are becoming less and less, as apparently they are a big contributing factor to global warming and such.
Some non league clubs proudly display historic programmes from decades ago, centuries old ones amongst them sometimes, and if you’re that way inclined you can read them, as long as you put them back.
But then at the same time, they announce they’re no longer doing programmes because of the state of the planet.
its like they are missing the fucking point completely.
I looked it up .. Of the 92 league clubs, only 66 are continuing with a programme, the other 26 have stopped. I suppose more will follow.

Not in my time anyroad.
