So you'd get rid of our most skilled player, when all our midfield dross is already on the bench every game? Who takes his place, Irvine? The Ward-Prowse can have Irvine's bench spot.
Yeah, that'll sort the team out.

Take the fucking money and run. I've seen virtually nothing from either Rice or Kudus that was any different to what we watched, except Rice's corners. Don't think we'd see this bloke turn into the world's greatest either. A career that's gone AC Milan > Lyon > West Ham doesn't scream world beater...

RIP Billy Bonds. A great honest hard working fella. Dare i suggest out of all your bretherin this man was easily the most respected by us across the water. Almost the 'acceptable' face of your club. Perhaps thats becuase he was a Sarf London lad (Cripps the east end boy)? From a personal point of v...

If we had a proper captain that would never have happened. The Northern midget has no authority over his team mates.

In hindsight I’d actually prefer to see a more restricted bbc on a subscription model A worldwide subscription service for the full offering. Think that would be popular across Europe, America, Australia & Asia Not sure how you restrict access to radio output but I leave that to the technical n...

Do t agree with that at all. Possibly overpriced on the basis that his injuries meant he couldn't play so many games but on talent, when fit, among the best forwards in the world at the time. Automatic pick for England.

Re: ‘Human safari’: Tourists ‘paid to shoot people.
I can just picture Goose perched upon a mountain range somewhere in eager anticipation of hopefully sniping Joyo from his push bike whilst on holiday at the cost of 151,200,000 Lira back in 1990. I don't think there are any mountain ranges in Broxbourne, so sadly Goose will never be able to do this...

That's twice on this thread someone has misunderstood the 'pulling up trees' idiom.
The metaphor of pulling trees out of the ground is about extreme effort, not ability or application.
Therefore, Formals did in fact pull up trees for West Ham, even when he played poorly.

If you're looking at his fitness then yeah, poor signing. But if you're looking at the player, then you have one of the best strikers in the planet when he's fit (yeah, I know , WHEN he's fit but again that's a different issue). If you're Germany's first choice striker at 100% you're definitely not...

Villa have a Jewish Supporters Club. None of them have ever been murdered. What a weird thing to dream up. Christian Villa fans are more likely to be murdered by "locals" (by which we mean Muslims) than Jewish ones. If any away fans got hurt it killed, it would be as a result of them kicki...
