"If you want old British stuff, UK Turks is your friend. If it's not on there you probably won't find it anywhere. Youtube is also good for old TV stuff, you'd be amazed what is on there"

Re: Kodi XBMC
"Trevor B ~ That's very true of quite a few British series of that era where you have to search through a few addons before you find what you're after I searched everywhere to try to find the pilot to ""Boys from the Blackstuff"" but gave up in the end The series can be found quite easily"
Re: Kodi XBMC
"Indeed Sold, the other day i was trying to find a british comedy from the 80s, not particularly well know, eventually found it but had to go through quite a few add-ons to eventually find one that had it."

Re: Kodi XBMC
As per the others... my T8 is lightning fast... one click and bang you are there... and that is the so called cloggy upped Wookie Lite installed... regarding add on's... probably 11 or 12 I have a regular butchers at... got 3 or 4 for films... 2 or 3 for sport.... 3 or so for Documentaries... and one for Filth * coughs *.... I like the ease of Wookie Lite... all the maintenance stuff just a click along the toolbar... just piss easy....

Re: Kodi XBMC
"Each to their own chaps. I like things to run lean to be fair. Honestly though, what percentage of the add ons do you actually use on a weekly basis? I watch football, movies and telly, Sports Nation HD nails one, Exodus nails the other two. I guess I got fed up with all the faffing around with my original android box, which was pathetic. The less I had on it the better it ran. I have a Fire TV box now, great bit of kit for Kodi, would happily run whatever, I just don't see the point?"
Re: Kodi XBMC
"I use Wookie Lite on a T8 and have never had a problem with it slowing down or with addons deleting themselves or other ones. I can understand being frugal with your addons if you're running a weedy unit like a Firestick. Wookie saves adding addons individually, and any addons you don't want can be deleted with a a couple of clicks"
Re: Kodi XBMC
"TBF my T8 runs fine with Wookie, never had any slowness issues, I used SPMC for Vader Streams to keep that running fast though."

Re: Kodi XBMC
"Trev. I just think builds are unnecessary and needlessly clog up your hardware. I've never met anyone that ended up using more than about two add ons so why have two dozen on there? Bit like glueing various kitchen appliances to your car. Your car will still work but it will go slower, use more fuel and the additions serve no purpose other than take up more of your time when they fall off and you need to glue them back on. Clean Kodi, two or three of the addons you actually use and you are done. We are already seeing addons deleting and installing stuff by themselves (see Indigo below), can you imagine sorting out a build if one of the 30 addons starting doing this but you didn't know which one?? Sometimes less is more my friend."
Re: Kodi XBMC
Spandex What's wrong with Wookie? I've been using their build for the past year or so any never had any issues.

Re: Kodi XBMC
Spandex ~ Thanks for the tip on Zen! It's just as good as Exodus on the films I've watched so far I read your link regarding Indigo & cleared it off all my devices. I didn't really use Add-On Installer very much anyway so it's no great loss! I regularly look on Kodi Michaels site to see if there's anything new I might be interested in & follow his installation instructions if there is

neilalex 12:37 Thu Feb 9 Re: Kodi XBMC I can't see why this is on here. There are numerous geeky sites where you can discuss this to your heart's content. Does this also apply to your contributions regarding the Saudis being behind terrorism on the Donald Trump thread Neil? I am sure there are plenty of websites where you can discuss that to your hearts content as well. If there is one type of thread I would ban from here it is the fucking political ones.
