They also posted photos of her online without her hijab in order to publicly shame her. Now she has been forced to issue a tearful 'I won't do it again, please don't hurt my family' video. Again, there is a part of me that can't believe this isn't all theatre, because it's so ridiculous."

BBC World Service used to be paid for by the Foreign Office but was moved to being paid for by the BBC a while ago. This is probably happening due to cuts the BBC have had to make across the board due to the license fee freeze.
