Mashed you need to go back Iver the conversation What I originally argued is that bigotry in religion cuts across faiths so him being anti gay marriage was no different to many Muslims he constantly criticises. His comeback to me was that my pointing out of these bigitries is in itself bigoted. So apparently questioning religious bigotry is itself bigoted. He doesn't seem.to get the point that holding those views is up to the people of those faiths and your faith being a protected characteristic means you rightly should not be discriminated against. However other groups have rights too and believing they should be denied them would be at odds with the law. Religious freedoms and beliefs don't override others.
