Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Just finished The Killing liked it a lot but not really the last season as much. Breaking Bad, Homeland done Was going to do Luther or The Wire next - can you tell me which one is best of the two?"

"Watched all of The Detectorists for a second time recently. One of my favourite TV series. Gentle, beautiful, genuinely funny and crafted with every character bringing something to the table (not just buttons). And the characters occasionally swear, just like real people do. You have to admit though that by the end Andy and Lance are properly punching. Oh and Varda is lovely. Probably wait another two years before doing it all over again."

Watched two episodes of the new Amazon show “Hunters” last night. Absolutely fucking bonkers. It’s about some Hews hunting Nazis in 1977 USA. It’s a bit like a Tarantino style of serious and entertaining structure with everything turned up to 11. Absolute shit

"Usually about 3 or 4 years and probably 30 pages of this thread behind everyone else but love the series 'Goliath'. The second of the three series is something else, quality TV."

"Hunters - Al Pacino's new Tv series dropped on Amazon today, looked good from the trailer. ""A diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City discover hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team will set out on a bloody quest to bring them to justice."""

"Recently watched October Faction. Half thought through, some good ideas but ultimately a mess. Also tried some Locke & Key, but it's one for the kids sadly, trying to cash in on that Stranger Things popularity. Will happily watch another season of The Boys though - crap endijng because the makers were concerned they wouldn't get another series, but found it very entertaining!"

"Can't believe I've never watched Boardwalk Empire. So now I'm watching Boardwalk Empire. A couple of seasons in and I can see where the producers of Peaky Blinders got a lot of their inspiration. Buscemi and MacDonald superb, obviously."

"I've watched Succession and yes it is very good, bit like a modern day Dallas, but found it a bit of a slog at times what with each episode a full hour. Logan is easily the best character in it. Good score too."
