"only1billybonds 3:13 Sat Sep 5 For me the Bosch tv shows are must watch! As soon as the next series is out, it’s binge time. I don’t think they have a lot of episodes in each series either! One of the best LA police shows around, well written interesting characters and all that"

"MMG. I stuck with Bosch all the way through. I think maybe we develop a strange loyalty towards authors in the way we do with bands/singers. Mark Billingham is one of my favourite crime writers aling with David Baldacci, can highly recommend both. * Apologies. I know this should be on the book thread."

"only1billybonds 3:13 Yeah, the Bosch novels are quality fella (apart from the one where he goes to HK). Can't remember why but gave up after the third series, although remember enjoying it. Duke/Nurse-Worth continuing with?"

"Just got round to watching “Snowfall” on iPlayer. Bit bonkers but I’ve really enjoyed it. If you don’t know it’s about the introduction and growth of crack coccaine in LA in the 80’s. Lots of good characters. One thing Inever understood about American TV is they don’t allow explicit sex but you an have as much violence and profanity as you like. Anyway, worth a look if you haven’t already."

"Have just finished Two Weeks To Live on Sky, only 6 episodes - bit of a mixed bag, very good in places. Sian Clifford (the stuck up sister from Fleabag) is excellent throughout, the two Asian brothers are pretty good, but it’s Maddie Williams that lets it down - not convincing as the wide eyed innocent, or the weapons expert. Amusing trend about the same bloke who gets beaten up by everyone"
