"Am now up to date with For All Mankind on Apple TV+ - an alternate history show, based on Russia beating America to the moon and what the fallout of that causes. Well worth a watch"

"Side of Ham Rewatching the whole of Spiral, it's one of the best things I've watched on television. Leroysboots...kept meaning to reply, what's good about Spiral is it seems really realistic, lot of police dramas there's always a definite ending, but in Spiral there's things that remain grey areas and something that happened in series 1 will pop up in series 3, that the cases can be really ambiguous and you end up seeing so many sides as it includes the legal system as well. ANd then there's multiple hidden agendas etc The acting is brilliant as well and you get really into the characters. It's gritty and atmospheric and the filming is superb, you see a scene in Columbo and even though Columbo isn't in that scene, you know it's Columbo you're watching, even the colour of the film...Spiral is like that. It's just brilliant"

"Giacomo Mancini who plays Gem in Top Boy went to primary school with my boys Bousfield, Kensington. The janitor Mr Stamp is/was the brother of Terrance Stamp. Crown Prince or Norway and Rowan Atkinson's kids also went there. And no it's not a private school."

"I enjoyed Top Boy, Manuel. I think the latest series Netflix did after they bought the rights was just as good too. I've just started Yellowstone which I had never heard of before, but it's got Kevin Costner and it's about cowboys and indians, set in the present day. 8.6 on IMDb, and it's worth that score."

Just finished season 1 of mind hunter. Excellent viewing. Anyone still watching American gods? After an excellent first season it keeps getting worse. Huge fuck up as to what could have been. Ian mcshane is still brilliant though.

Also enjoying Spiral on BBC i player! I like the format of a main story line for the series plus sub-plots in the individual episodes. Still can't understand how the French judiciary works!

One of the few things for me that didn't have a bad way to end it was Spiral. Very good all the way through as well.

"Swiss. 1:15 Mon Mar 15 To be honest, I’m disappointed with the way most series end, most of all was Lost, kin hell."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Was a bit disappointed with Your Honor from episode 5 onwards to be honest, but Cranston is excellent. Bloodlands,, oh dear. Nesbitt doesn't wear a frown well. Episode One was ok but went downhill fast. Hopefully will be redeemed by Line Of Duty starting again next week I think. Re Cranston if you haven't seen his movies, The Infiltrator and The Upside along side Kevin Hart both are very good."

"So the first series is worth a watch? I've seen it advertised, presumably because the 2nd series has just come out."

We have just finished series 1 of The Terror (bbc iplayer). Tense ten parter. Don’t bother with series 2 as completely different story and crap apparently. Is Our country worth a watch?
