"Lee Trundle 4:48 Mon Jan 17 Just finished the second series of Yellowstone - up there with some of the best TV I've watched. Beth is utterly mental. Hard to get hold of in the UK, so I ended up downloading all four series of it off a torrent site - but, if you have Sky Q then Paramount+ will be added to it when it launches in the UK and it will all be on there"

I thought Trigger Point was stereotypical shit that didn't have me on edge at all. An hour of bantz mixed in with some electrical wire......

"Hardly a box set yet, but I just watched the first ep of Trigger Point last night and thought it was excellent. High hopes for the rest of the series."

"claypole 1:02 Not sure if already discussed, but Danny McBride's other comedies Eastbound and Down and Vice Principals are both fucking superb. For anyone who hasn't seen them, well worth it."
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"Peacemaker is just superb. Colourful, violent, sweary, disgusting and funny. Just what you want from a grown-up superhero show. DC's dark and gritty stuff leaves me absolutely cold but James Gunn has breathed life into that world. Up there with The Boys. And as a bonus he very much likes showing his wife off to the world. 4 eps in now. Available on HBO Max or your preferred hookey telly supplier."

"On a lighter note from the Gamoras and Ozarks, for comedy Schitt's Creek is quite fun. I think it's hard to follow the golden age of BB, SOA, Banshee, Dexter, The Soparanos etc."

Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
Both Ozark & Gomorrah are excellent but the fact the writer of one gets to spend his life in protection tells you its own added story.......
Re: Tv Box sets thread again - recommendation pls
"NS, im not sure Gomorrah is the sort of show that you get that 'stop life' feeling about and im saying that as someone that loved it. Its very dark and at time bleak so you dont get moments of comedic relief like you do in shows like the Wire/Sopranos/Succession/Breaking Bad and also with the subtitles it can be pretty hard work to watch more than 2 or 3 episodes in one sitting. That said stick with it as more and more characters come in to it that are worth persevering for, ultimately an equal amount of them leave through a variety of gruesome ends."

8 episodes in on series one of Gomorra... yeah it's good... is it the best thing I have ever seen?? No not at the moment but we are enjoying it... will probably watch a couple of episodes a night if nothing else is on so not getting to that 'stop life we need to watch this shit 24/7' like I have with other stuff... but it is deffo' watchable..

We started watching Gomorrah last night got through the first 3 episodes with subtitles and will watch it again tonight. For those with Kodi we found very good streams with The Oath addon Yellowstone can also be found there.
