"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

One more easy game for the Pat's and then the schedule gets harder. Another proper test for our defence this weekend against one of the best players in the league in McCaffrey.

Read an amusing stat today. Garner Minshew has more rushing yards this season than the entire Bengals offence.

Playing against someone who runs with Lamarr constantly on Madden is pretty infuriating.

"Lamar jackson probably isnt far off that on his own the way he is going (exaggerating for effect) It's like Baltimore run a permanent wildcat offence the way he plays, he's on course for more than 1300 yards rushing this season! that being said he did have some lovely throws yesterday and would have had an even better day had a couple of players caught good passes especially one lovely pass to the endzone that was dropped."

"That was funny, that Donald is an absolutely fucking beast of a man. And Ryan has thrown for 800 yards further than Garoppolo, though I'd hazard no team has attempted as many rushes as we have, with maybe the exception of Baltimore. 234 in all which is double what the Skins have attempted."

"Yeah The defence is completely broken for the falcons which is odd as its essentially the same pieces they had when they went to the superbowl and they have a supposed defensive specialist at head coach (for now) Doesnt help that the starting running back got ejected for a very soft slap as Aaron Donald was carrying him away like a child. Falcons could be candidates to trade some of their offensive pieces away before the deadline, wouldnt mind Mo Sanu as a number 3 receiver in New England."

"Done Coleman for 1st TD last night and was nice and excited when we had the ball on the 3 yard line, just for them to try an end around for Kittle who slipped over in the mud after running about 3 feet :o)"

"With the best receivers, they can always get themselves a few yards, though not ideal having to overuse Kittle, as it does get obvious. Miss Juszczyk big time, as he would have been absolute perfect in a dirty horrible game like last night."

"grumps, like much of your squad, the receivers are very young so probably need a year to get comfortable. you do have a couple of promising players though, and kittle if not tackled early is a nightmare"

"Said before I didn't overly rate our receivers, but we've been a running pounding team for years. Game only works if you have a defence to back it up. Last chance to trade ends soon doesn't it?"

"The Jets D has actually played well this year, just had very little support from the offence with Darnold out. Id expect a low scoring game tonight unless there are some defensive scores (which there seem to be most weeks for the Pats)"

"Jets v the Brady Bunch in New York tonight. I'm hoping Darnold is on form, or this could be a very long night for our defence. Not expecting a win, considering that Gase couldn't coach his way out of his own house, but if Darnold hits form then we might avoid complete embarrassment. About time that our D-Line gave Brady a good hiding and put the entire league out of its repeated misery..! ;-)"

"49ers could do with going out and trying to trade for a wide receiver too, Kittle would be the only person who remotely concerns you in the passing game and good defences or coaches should be able to scheme a way to take him away while also limiting the running game. Would be interesting to see if Jimmy G can get it done when it's alot more on his shoulders."
