"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"Yeah, that relationship between Ramsey and Beckham could make or break that Rams side. Two massive egos who will match up in training at times. Ramsey helped recruit Beckham, so he claims. But then started wanging on about how Beckham reminds him of himself, with his amazing ""god-given talent""! Does the Rams' dressing room have mirrors big enough for the both of them, because they are both very much in love with themselves?!"

He might do but then people said the same about Ramsey when he came. Only time will tell.

"Personally, I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole if I were GM. But, partially by design and partially by chance, the Rams are throwing everything at winning it all this year. And that's probably the point when handling Beckham is easiest. If they don't win it all in February, then watch him begin to whine and whinge his way through offseason."

"Beckham Jnr is like T.O: you get a very good receiver who will make some outstanding plays and catches, but you also get a massively disruptive force in the dressing room and at the training ground - because it is ALWAYS about him. Rams better hope they win it all this year, because history shows that Beckham becomes toxic from year two onwards..."

"you'll bounce back, I'm sure. out of all the teams we've played (and we had to meet all the top play-off teams from last season), the bills were by far the most impressive but the jaguars showed they are beatable. anyone but those cowboy cunts"

I'm hoping Beckham comes good especially now Woods has gone down. They didn't really use him last night as he's only been there a couple of days and hasn't learnt the playbook. We had to go no huddle as getting stuffed so he sat it out. Hopefully as we have a bye he'll be up to speed for the next game.

"He was only involved in the first half for 3 targets and 2 catches. Just didn't really give em a sniff and when they had the odd chance for some points, he done his usual clever shit of fake field goals etc that failed. Our offence is pretty shit with the main 2 RB's injured, so a proper embarrassing night for them."

"It makes you wonder what goes through GM's minds when recruiting someone like Beckham to a thriving team. I didn't see the game and clearly he wouldn't cause unrest this early, but the past has shown he's a distraction so it makes you wonder why mcvey went there"

"Rams did not look like a team heading for the title. Not last night, at least. Grump is right - at this point in the season, it's an open contest. Can see a 2008 Giants-style surge by a side which clicks late in the season. The only thing guaranteed is that it won't be the Jets! Chiefs just beginning to look like Reid's Chiefs. And Mahomes gradually finding his form."

"Ridiculously open this year, with pretty much zero stand out amazing teams. Probably still want to be on the buccs due to their experience, but last couple of games have shown how much the old man relies on having a fit gronk still. Great effort from Washington that and liked watching Gibson still moving with about 7 blokes hanging off him. Be a good exciting play offs etc for once."

"Don't get me wrong - I want Saleh to do well, of course. But he's already making MASSIVE errors of judgement and is proving to be as stubborn about his failures as past coaches who all fell by the wayside. He reiterated last week that he will not call defensive plays as Jets HC. Yet that is all he knows. I repeat - in the past four games, we've shipped 54, 31, 45 and 45 points. And probably the best defensive mind at the franchise is refusing to call that side of the ball. I hope he turns it around, as he seems like a decent fella. My guess is he'll coach 34 games and he'll be out on his ass at the end of 2022 with a 9-25 record or something similar. Because that's the way he's heading unless he changes his approach."

"TM - unfortunately, we won't have a choice but to hang in there and hope that he turns it around. He's almost guaranteed at least two years on the hot seat as HC, which is fine by me as it gives him ample time to at least find some improvement. But in all honestly, we are currently a worse team than when Gase left (primarily because we allowed some half-decent vets to leave with him). And Gase was a clusterfuck on every level. I'm not saying that Saleh is a worse coach than Gase - he's probably not. But he has shown us absoluetly nothing, at all, in his first half season. And his decision not to call defensive plays is likely to come back to haunt him. Way things are going, he'll be yet another of the Jets' ""two seasons and out"" HCs and he'll quite possibly ruin another promising young quarterback. But I say that based as much on our past history under these owners, rather than just based on Saleh. We've fallen into a rut supporter-wise because we're now so used to huge disappointments as coaches and in the boardroom. It is now a franchise devoid of any knowledge or experience of what a winning mentality or organisation looks and feels like. The longest run without a play-off appearance in a league which actively promotes equality. ""Any Given Sunday*"" (*Except in New Jersey) ;-)"

TM - just watched that last drive: that was some proper hard work by Washington. Old Skool football. The under-pressure catches by McLaurin and Humphries were excellent. Some proper run-it-up-the-middle work by the line and Gibson.

"SB, we're also missing montez sweat with a broken has for the next month or so. If you watch that video, there's a key catch by terry mclaurin on a 3rd and five where he knows as he catches it that the two dbs are going to light him up, yet he still goes through with it and holds on to the ball. in the slow mo footage, terry gets up beats his chest and you can see one of the bucs players in the background open mouthed, stunned :.)"
