NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"nearly three it away last night after having the ball for 40 minutes, scott turner's shit play calling in the red zone continues. the seahawks bobby wagner showed again why he'll end up in the hall of fame, but we still did enough despite losing our kicker and another centre. raiders away next"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Quite amusing how unbelievably bad this Seahawks team has become. Wilson has turned proper gash and I think my 80 year old mother is a better running back than Collins. They have one exceptional receiver and have targeted him once in almost 3 quarters!!! Good times.

"Agree that the list of potential SB winners is long, although I always tend towards experience (HCs, QBs etc) - so expect the Patsies, Pack, Chiefs and others to step up as the play-offs get close. Jets still miles behind most. But we saw a tiny bit of progress today. Not just the much-needed win, but also the way Wilson stepped up and the defense (finally!) had a shut-out half. Small steps."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"This year there is no clear cut favorite in either conference, this year seems to be the most open it has been for years. AFC you have: Bills who are having some tough results as of late. Titans also losing, Henry and AJ Brown k ow both on IR Colts are coming on strong right now New England looking good Bengals look like they've turned the Corner Chiefs coming good but look beatable Chargers are hot n cold but look real good when hot. Ravens too are hot and cold. NFC you have The Cards who appear to be in the driving seat Rams are overrated a loss this week could see them start to panic. Packers are beatable Cowboys are beatable Bucs are beatable, Losing to the colts right now. Saints are in trouble now that their QB is out Vikes are hot and cold, Run defense is a big problem for them Eagles not consistent good Defense though Niners are too Inconsistant, Garoppollo can stink at times. Not easy to see who the super bowl teams will be yet and we are in week 12""¶.. Could see a couple of wild card teams make the Super Bowl this year."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
It's insufferable having to put up with that fucking cսnt Romo commentating on the cowboys. Wanking himself dry over everything that goes their way and being audibly gutted every time it doesn't. Have some fucking professionalism. So this result is extra pleasing.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
easily the worst refereeing team I've seen. the offside call on the raiders centre was disgraceful. these cunts get homer refs every home match

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"TM - totally agree, mate. That's exactly what he should have done. As you say, it'll be hard to unpick that now. He may have to sacrifice Ulbrich (DC) for some grey hairs. The defence has no bite, no penetration and no sense of togetherness. A gnarled old fucker needs to come in and instil some passion and nous into that group. We thought that's what Saleh would do as HC, but he's inadvisably hands-off with the defence. Rex runs a very different defence (probably incompatible with Saleh's philosophy), but would have been ideal otherwise. Say what you like about Rex, but his defences were always fired-up, tough and hard to read. Somebody like Lewis could help Saleh a lot if the HC won't call defensive plays."

"Trunds, he's had mental issues before apparently and recently suffered a concussion when he swerved his car to avoid a deer in the road Still. let's hope he gets the help he needs"

Looks like Everson Griffen has gone nuts with a gun in his hand. The Vikings have sent a mental team round with the police to his gaff after some weird postings on SOCIAL MEDIA.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"SB, as I said weeks ago. he could do with an older head in the place, one that's been there and dealt with the pressure before. it may be too late to do it now, and may spread uncertainty to his coordinators but maybe employing someone like marv lewis or rex on a consultant basis would have worked before the season started. it takes a lot of maturity, and confidence though to go that route with a former head coach alongside you. that's why even though I've had my moans this season, rivera bringing del rio in as our DC was a great decsion"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Hermit - it was absolutely ludicrous and a failure compounded by the fact that he did it TWICE within a few minutes. Saleh is really struggling, despite all of his waffle words in front of the media. He talks a great game. It's just that we have never seen that game on the field. Not once, really. I like the guy as a person and I want him to turn it around. But the grim reality - there for all to see now - is that he wasn't quite ready to be an NFL head coach when he got the job (which was my fear at the time). I just hope that he learns to adapt quickly, or he's going to be another over-hyped co-ordinator who sinks fast."

I see that the other lot in New York have ditched Jason Garrett as OC. His (lone) star has fallen considerably in the past few seasons.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"""Robert Saleh used up two time-outs in the first 8.5 minutes of the third quarter against the Fish."" That's ludicrous. On the subject of new coaches, the Eagles' coaching team looks like it is growing into the role along with Jalen Hurts and the rest of the team. Both NY teams up next and then maybe heating up nicely at the right time for a run into the playoffs."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Btw, the chaos of what is really going on at the Jets' sideline was summed up by one simple fact on Sunday: Robert Saleh used up two time-outs in the first 8.5 minutes of the third quarter against the Fish. He, and his coaching staff, have such poor communication and he is so raw and inexperienced at game management that he wasted two second half time-outs shortly after half-time. The team was barely ready to call a play, so he had almost nothing left for the clutch period at the end of the 4th quarter when the game was close. The guy is simply NOT the coach he was presented as, a situation made worse by the fact that, with his team imploding, he point blank refuses to call defensive plays: the bit he does know about. He's just not ready to be a head coach. Yet. He'd better fucking step up soon enough."

"No passing touchdowns in a game with Dak and mahomes I did not expect to be saying that Twice in three weeks the offender haven't showed up don't think you can say that's a blip even without cooper and lamb. Offensive line just didn't stand up. Just good to see the defender holding up even without Lawrence and Gregory, parsons was outstanding again"
