NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Crystal you sound a little touchy mate. My guess is Dalvin has already been picked up by someone, just a hunch. You crack on trying to trade Russ then. Let's see if there is any idiot dumb enough to trade a starting running back for him ffs! Wish you were in my fantasy league, I'd want to play you every week. Some people eh? Gotta laugh!"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Have you had a look Melvin Gordon? He has just been moved to the Ravens match day squad to cover for JK Dobbins who is out for a long time. Most of the half decent running backs got hoovered up in waivers on Wednesday. It is thin pickings with Cordarelle Patterson looking he best of a mediocre bunch of free agents.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Hence why i tried to find a trade? Dalvin cook? You mean the backup running back in new york who breece hall was already playing ahead of? If you dont know the league properly maybe dont be offering me advice
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"That's the point, you are not gonna have a permanent replacement this week, you have to find a weekly filler until u stumble across a solid back up who has a good chance of being used. Devin cook always gets hurt, who is his back up? Michell at the 49ers, how about him?"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Yeah i dont need tips on how to play fantasy football thanks. EVERY running back available is trash and with my RB1 going down i need a permanent addition not a weekly filler
Re: NFL (since 2016)
"Well aren't you able to go on and pick up whoever is left now that the waiver period is passed? Look at this weeks match ups, who has a poor run D, see who they are playing? Who has a big run game? Atlanta for example who is there back up? They have a good o line, not much by way of receiver a questionable QB and a work horse beast RB who they lean on. Chances are he'll get hurt. Look at match ups each week, see who is available. RB's are the easiest to replace as there are so many of them getting hurt and so many available."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
Lol look at the running backs on the waiver wire i tried to get the ravens backup but didnt get him.
Re: NFL (since 2016)
Crystal Falace Then go on the bloody waiver wire and pick up some back ups ffs. Find out who is RB 2 and pick them up. Every year RB's get hurt especially as the season progresses. It's those that play the waiver wire and pick up the best back ups who usually win. That's where the skill comes in. It's not all about the draft and trades ffs.

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"I really hate my fantasy team, the auto draft only gave me 3 running backs, one who is suspended and another who tore his achillees week one! Would be open for trading for a decent option if anyone has spares, i dont really have much to offer in way of WR wither though! Michael pittman or russel Wilson basically all i can afford to lose right now!"

"cough, joe's been quite involved with the new owners and been at a few of the press events. he's 82 now, so probably has to be careful with his time and I think is based in carolina"
Re: NFL (since 2016)
All you need now is Joe Gibbs to return after he's finished playing with his cars.

"haha, at 64 he probably would have done a better job than the current RT. Riggo returned at the weekend, coming back after an invite by the new owners (among many other legends that had stayed away because of Snyder). Sonny Jurgensen sitting next to Josh Harris during the game. happier times at the moment"

"jacoby represents himself, so straight away you avoid the parasitical elements attached to other players. I like him and don't want him going anywhere, especially as it seems some teams may have a bounty on howell (after what I watched sunday). jacoby's currently on a one year $8m deal, of which $7.5m is guaranteed. wentz is a nice person but he has footballing ptsd. not sure if it's all the bad injuries he's had, but he plays scared and that's no good in the nfl"

"Still think we should have gone for Mayfield or Jimmy G, but Woody went all in on Rodgers and will pay around £4m per play for it! Not Rodgers' fault, of course."

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"TM - yeah, I read that about Brisset. Is he any good? I don't know exactly how it works under the new rules, but I guess the Jets will put Rodgers on IR - offsetting a chunk of his wages (PRP bonuses, presumably). It means they have cap space of around $9m to bring in a veteran, presumably as back-up to Wilson. There's also talk of Wentz, who's a free agent. But I'm not sure I'd bother. Just go with Zach and push the fucker - hard."
Re: NFL (since 2016)
I don't celebrate it - but i certainly don't feel sorry for him. Not a huge amount of sports people I dislike - but he's one.

"a washington fan channel put it out there that you may enquire about brissett from us. no idea what it would cost, I don't want it to happen but he's a very reliable player ready to step in to a starting role"

Re: NFL (since 2016)
"I genuinely feel for Rodgers: nobody could have expected that freak injury just four plays into his Jets career. But I do think it highlights the problem of shaping your franchise so heavily around one man - which is sort of what the Jets did over the summer: right down to bringing in Rodgers' offensive co-ordinator from Green Bay. Thankfully, the attempt to give Rodgers at run at the Super Bowl meant the Jets also invested in some other talent, and we now need to rely on them - and the youngsters on what was already a promising roster - to step up this season. I was always a bit unsure of going all in on Rodgers. But I feel for the guy. Now we have to go back to the flawed Zach Wilson. I just hope some of Rodgers' experience and nous has rubbed off on the kid."
