"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"It's the final that few real NFL fans wanted to see. But, as Griff said, it's every inch the final that the MEEJA wanted, because the circus gets to wang on (and wank off) about Taylor Swift for several weeks longer. It'll be a good match-up, but I really wanted to see Detroit in the final. The Chiefs are a proper dynasty under Reid and Mahomes. Four finals in five seasons is a superb achievement by any standard other than Belichick-Brady. Let the circus begin. Thankfully, I still can't name a Taylor Swift song."

"Better to be lucky than good... Feel for Detroit but the way they play and go for everything will always give you a chance. I wonder if LOLmar Jackson is still comparing himself to Mahomes this morning? An embarrassingly inept display - albeit not helped by his OC. In short, just about the worst Superbowl imaginable, and not even so much about the teams as the media coverage - we have two more weeks of Taylor fucking Swift and hearing about 'Mr.Irrelevant' for the 5 millionth time."

On the road in San Fran and to go for it on 4th and 2 instead of kicking a fg that puts you up by 3 scores was retarded. It was a huge momentum swing and from there it escalated. Bonehead call. Should have kicked the fg.

"The lions have just gift wrapped this game and handed to the 9ers on a silver platter. Granted a couple of huge bits of bad luck but a few devastating drops and two utterly utterly boneheaded decisions by the coach. If they now lose by six pointz or less""¶"

The Ravens were undone by idiot penalties and Lamar Jackson throwing into triple coverage for the interceprion. That might be their last chance if they can't keep that defence together who played well in that game.

"49ers are in danger of shitting their own bed here as well, the way this has started. Great stuff from the lions but I can't imagine their defence can resist them as well as the chiefs did the ravens, though."

Ravens spectacularly shitting the bed here. Chiefs are playing very smart football and great defence and Baltimore is imploding. Few key key penalties in big moments

"Honestly, Trunds, the guy was utter gash. He couldn't set his feet to throw the ball and his throwing technique was terrible. Absolute donkey. Whoever managed to talk him up to being a Rnd2 pick did their (over-inflated) job very well. If he hadn't been at Penn, he most likely would never have been close to the top five rounds of any draft in any year. The Jets, with their back-office idiocy, bought it. And missed Mahomes the following year as a consequence! I remember reading that, just a few months after we drafted Hackenberg, the QB coach recommended that we had to completely remodel his throwing action. Why would any team draft a QB with a high-round pick, who so obviously did not have the technique to play in the NFL? The draft is difficult at the best of times, but some NFL folk (and teams) really don't make it easy for themselves."

I was just reading about Christian Hackenberg. He's likely a millionaire having never played a game in the NFL. haha
