The distant sound of cars on the motorway - heading to destinations unknown for unclear reasons...it sounds a bit like far away waters lapping further away shores out of season. every now and again someone punctuates it with a very fast moving and distant revving motorbike engine...accelerating ...swirling - it must be the late night 'drive your bike' club as there is always at least one far off revving motorbike to be heard at this time of night... cornering unseen badly lit bends and sending sudden engine rising noises into the distant night
