Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
Andy Bell is pretty well known if you're into indie rock. He used to be in a shoegaze band in the 90s called Ride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsmHP3ce010
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
found it Debs. Big Wedge. it is a fairly mediocre song. I don't know what he was thinking with that outfit. And most of his band looked like they were under the impression it was still 1985 with those mullets. But then I was just as equally guilty of persisting with my mullet at the time. .
Re: What if anything are you listening to now?
"Debs. I wondered the same. It is a different Andy Bell. I don't know much about him, except he was in Oasis for a short while and has a new album out which received a good review in the current issue of PROG magazine. bit like the progressive rock musician Dave Stewart, who has a more famous namesake. BTW any idea what the Fish song on TOTP you saw was? I'm guessing it may have been State of Mind, Big Wedge, or A Gentleman's Excuse Me, or The Company.? TBH, His solo material is a bit hit and miss imo, but his new album (his last apparently) is brilliant."
