Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"Pravda reporting that Rogers not interested in a new gig before the end of the season ""according to their senior sources"". Surely the Curbishley rubbish is just that?! And surely Sullivan wouldn't revert to a guy that was starting to get us relegated when he was sacked as interim to a guy that is getting us relegated?! The clear obvious candidate to caretake us is Warburton. Sullivan was going to appoint him as Brum boss, he's at least had reasonable success as a manager, and he's immediately available."
Re: Moyes Out
"""but it's been decided he has already gone, he's only still there as they haven't agreed yet on who comes in yet"" WHAT??? GET. FUCKING. RID. !! Having nobody is preferable to keeping him and displays like the last one. Put Noble in the dressing Room FFS, just get him the fuck out. Jesus wept this isn't hard to fathom."

Re: Moyes Out
"13 Brentford Rd 3:08 Yeah but they have to be realistic options and managers who are actually prepared to come here at this point in time and deal with the mess AND Sullivan. Poch just isn't realistic whatever way you slice it, so he isn't an option. Especially in our Current situation. I do agree both Potter and Rodgers are better options who are available now but they've got to actually want it. It's not like just grabbing a loaf of bread off a shelf that you like the look of."
Re: Moyes Out
"They ain't gonna have got rid of him and then let him stay in charge for tomorrow are they? No chance. Some of the names being thrown around to replace him are fuckin ridiculous too, Bilic and Curbishley!? As if."

Re: Moyes Out
"""no better options"" LOL ü§£ Potter, Pochetino & Rodgers straight off the top of my head. Plus other clubs who actually understand football seem to manage to unearth hidden gems or upcoming managers from Europe too. All Sullivan is doing is proving how clueless and unsuited to running a club like West Ham he is!"

Re: Moyes Out
"Trouble is once again they've missed a convenient window for a management change. After today and Genk there are matches coming thick and fast. There wasn't long between Newcastle and Fulham, but there is a few days between that and Genk although Easter Monday is in the way. Sounds like he goes tomorrow if we lose anyway, but if we don't, then for me right after Genk away even if we win. Arsenal on the Sunday is a lost cause and will probably be ugly no matter who is in charge- although maybe less ugly if Moyes isn't there. Whoever it turns out to be can just accept Arsenal is likely a loss and ANYTHING other than a 2 or 3 goal defeat is a bonus, even just some fight and attacking coherence. Put everything into Thursday's game and that basically gives a week. I think that's the last chance before it's too late. If not tomorrow regardless of result, then right after the Genk first leg, regardless of that result. Accept what's going to happen against Arsenal and start proper after that. Don't even care who it is at this point. Caretaker. Let Nolan do it. Let Warburton do it. They'll change things up and the players will really respond to a change in outlook. Just removing Moyes for anyone will boost morale."
Re: Moyes Out
"If you were Moyes and knew you were going between now and the end of season, wouldn't you prefer to get sacked earlier or force the club to? He can then say he never took us down, if he is playing that game with the club, we'll soon know if we see Kehrer and Soucek start tomorrow"

Re: Moyes Out
"Pedro 1:22 Fri Apr 7 Part of me is hoping the leaks via the usual avenues about sticking with Moyes and no better options being available is just a bit of kidology from Sullivan while on the quiet he is sounding out longer term replacements. Sort of like when he didn't stick with Moyes the first time and appointed Pellegrini. If Moyes thinks that he's dead man walking, what motivation has he got to even try to get results? He might even think fuck it I'll take these cunts down in that scenario. But I reckon that's giving Sullivan too much credit. He probably is just going to continue sticking his fingers in his ears and hoping for the best."

Re: Moyes Out
"According to Claret and Booze and their info it's NOT a case of Moyes needing something from Fulham to survive, but it's been decided he has already gone, he's only still there as they haven't agreed yet on who comes in yet. Just the messenger."
Re: Moyes Out
You would also expect / hope the club have been sounding out options this week and can then make the call Saturday night.

Re: Moyes Out
"What the fuck are we paying him for then Wow just fucking wow does he really listen to himself speak I would love a journalist just 1 to call him out by asking the god damn question. What the fuck do you do all week then, isn't your job to know about Fulham, their strengths, weaknesses etc etc Nailed on same team as Newcastle because he simply doesn't know what kind of team Fulham will put out. He probably thinks Mitrovic will be playing and will be surprised not to see Silva in the dugout. This cսnt makes my blood fucking boil"
Re: Moyes Out
Am not his biggest fan but if we got Brendan Rodgers in on Monday I have a feeling we might get something against Arsenal.

Re: Moyes Out
After Fulham would be the best time for Moyes to go we have Genk either side of Arsenal and then Bournemouth 23rd April

Re: Moyes Out
"So he scrapes a point against Fulham only to then ship another 4 or 5 against Arsenal - no different to where we are now. Presumably then the cycle will continue and the message yet again will be, 'He has to get something from the next game' etc. On the question about should Moyes stay if we win the Conference. Still no, beating mostly pub teams should not be lauded as some fantastic achievement. That's not to belittle the club winning a trophy, which of course we'd all love, but it should be seen in the wider context in terms of quality of opposition. It's the best outcome for all sides though. Were in the PL and Europa next season and he can dine out off finishing 6th, 7th and ECL success to blag himself a half decent job somewhere else. Whatever happens, it is time for a parting of the ways. Although I strongly suspect Sullivan sticks with him in this scenario. Rice may have defended him yesterday, but interested to hear what the likes of Scamacca, Fornals, Lanzini, Areola, Downes and anyone else he's frozen out think of him. Especially when they see shit like Soucek starting every week when they can't get a look in."

"David Moyes comments on Fulham tomorrow ""I couldn't tell you much about Fulham as a squad""ù He's just asking for the sack now"
Re: Moyes Out
"This is death by a thousand cuts. The psychology of keeping together a manager and his extensive, pointless staff as we sink further and further into the mire beggars belief. We will shortly have a disillusioned coaching team, a disillusioned squad and 5 games to save our desperate season"

Re: Moyes Out
"Steady - Maybe, but I think the alleged wording was that he needs a win. If we had drew with Newcastle a point would have been okay, but with Arsenal next week we need 3 points now. If he stays after a draw then that would suggest they really don't want to sack him, imo. They may factor in performance and if the fight is there, and maybe even other results, but it's just guessing, innit."

Re: Moyes Out
"When we don't win on saturday he has to go straight away.get a new manager in on Monday morning and give them the games against Ghent and Arsenal to see who wants to fight for the shirt etc Those are free hits and if we go out to Ghent it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if it meant a new manager had the chance to build on something. I'm sure there are people out there looking at the club right now thinking all you have to do is this, Change that etc I'm utterly convinced that someone new coming in on Monday morning would lift the place straight away. New fresh ideas, new tactics and every player in the squad a clean slate and a chance to help drag us out of it. Moyes has too many favourites and continues to keep faith with those who are letting him down every week.. THOMAS SOUCEK to name the main culprit."
Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel 12:16 Fri Apr 7 ""òOne more game' to me translates as don't lose and get at least a point. We've sunk so far that getting a point away rather than a win is still effectively a victory for Sullivan/Moyes. I'd lay money that he'll stay longer if we draw at Fulham."

Re: Moyes Out
"IF it's true that he has one more game then surely he needs more than a draw, we will lose to Arsenal next week so it would only be one point from nine which is no good in our position. The long and short of it is Sullivan is gambling on Moyes keeping us up, but only to an extent, hence needs a win tomorrow. It's absurd how far we declined this season to the point where we have no real style of play, no system, no plan B, boring the pants off everyone, new expensive players have flopped, taking one game at a time, can only beat bottom half sides, can't score, can't defend, disharmony in the dressing room, Moyes insulting the support, etc etc. We actually deserve to go down."
