Rusta 11:13 Fri Apr 7 Apparently Noble holds him in high regard. Thinks he can motivate the players and get the team scoring more goals.

"Getting a draw tomorrow is not good enough, we are running out of winnable games. After the disgusting display on Sunday every one of them should be aching to get out there tomorrow and run themselves into the ground to repay the fans, and the manager if they give a toss about him. They shouldn't need motivating, shame is what its about!"

If Moyes is sacked tomorrow - there is a good chance that Bilić will be hired as an interim until the end of the season.

"From the Guardian - April 7 David Moyes is on the brink of being fired by West Ham, who will give serious consideration to making a change if they lose at Fulham and plunge deeper into relegation trouble on Saturday. Moyes is expected to be safe if he picks up at least a draw, but he is running out of time to save his job. West Ham are out of the bottom three on goal difference and there is major alarm at board level after the humiliating 5-1 home defeat by Newcastle on Wednesday. The club have been keen to keep faith with Moyes, in part because they have not been able to identify a suitable replacement. The former Everton and Manchester United manager insisted he retained the hierarchy's support after the Newcastle game. Moyes can argue he has done a decent job since returning to West Ham in December 2019 and he has successfully made it through at least two make-or-break fixtures this season. West Ham have remained patient and, along with Nottingham Forest, are one of only two clubs in the bottom half of the Premier League not to have sacked their manager. Sources close to the board have previously insisted that David Sullivan, the largest shareholder, was determined to stick with Moyes. Those assurances disappeared after the defeat by Newcastle. However, there is no guarantee that Moyes will go if Fulham beat West Ham, who have won only one away game in the league. It has been stressed that a lack of candidates could drag out the issue. It is understood there is a slim chance of Brendan Rodgers taking over after his departure from Leicester. Graham Potter wants to wait until the summer for his next job after his sacking by Chelsea. West Ham are aware that Rafael Ben√≠tez would be willing to step in, but they do not want to give the Spaniard a long-term deal. Another possibility is placing Mark Warburton, part of Moyes's backroom staff, in interim charge. West Ham have hoped that Moyes, who led them into Europe in consecutive seasons, can revive his fortunes. The season could yet end in European glory ""ì West Ham play the first leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final at Gent next Thursday and are favourites to win the competition. But their awful defending against Newcastle raised questions over whether Moyes's message is getting through. The Guardian has previously reported that some figures in the dressing room have been expressing doubts over their manager's tactics. The mood has been described as low, by well-placed sources."

Didn't think we would beat Newcastle and a big defeat would see Moyes out but No we now have to lose at Fulham for him to go. He's got lucky again as their top striker is out and have little to play for

"'Sacking the manager and then giving his assistant the job doesn't really give the players much of a change. Especially when the assistant has failed a few times at championship level himself.'' Apparently, this is why Moyes is still here as they don't want to give the gig to a Nolan/Noble/Warburton, type, and to be fair i think that's the right call. But who really knows wtf is going on."

I'd like to see Noble walk out as manager if just because it would boil the knuckleheads' piss.

I would rather have Noble over someone like Warburton for the rest of the season. Even if it's Noble assisted by someone experienced like a Harry Redknapp (Not necessarily him but someone of that experience) that could give the players a bit of a lift and something different. Sacking the manager and then giving his assistant the job doesn't really give the players much of a change. Especially when the assistant has failed a few times at championship level himself.

"I think Noble needs to be involved in any temporary set up maybe with Warburton. Then have a proper look in the summer, Kompany, Rodgers, Potter and Carrick i am sure all would be interested."

"I can understand the clamour for Rogers by those that havent paid much attention to his career. It probably looks goodish on paper. Warburton is just fucking stupid on multiple levels. But we are desperate, so Rogers is a yes from me despite serious reservations. I can't see him taking the job though, it's not a tap in now like it was a few months ago."

Potter did make some weird decisions at Chelsea like playing Sterling as a wing back and Brighton looking better since he left. Rodger's is shot so I'm not in for either. Maybe give Klepto (Will Steal) a chance.

All went tits up Jan 2022 arguably summer 2021 with Moyes not bringing in a back up striker and a top class LB. This cost us the Europa League title and a Europa League spot. The rest has been done to death here with regards to his team selection and negative tactics. Of course Sullivan is as much to blame. I actually thought it very brave for the owners not to extend Moyes and bring in Pellegrini. I think most of us were happy. Arguably he may still be with us not for Fabs injury. But when things went bad how pathetic that the only option seemed to revert back to was Moyes. They never seem to have a pre planned B or C as is the case now.

"Depends doesn't it. It had been going to shit since January, not since Warburton turned up. If you listen to that Claret and Booze 'exclusive' from within the camp...the guy only rules out Nolan as being the leak, said the guy spilling the beans was a bit boozed, and according to Ex only two of the coaching staff drink (pretty much leaves Warburton). In that report suggestion is all the coaches are trying to get Moyes to change, but Moyes won't listen. Seems to me could be Warburton would be an improvement short term, giving the players their head etc."

"Warburton would be every bit as bad as Moyes. He's part of the problem now. In fact our total shitness has become truly apparent the moment he turned up. Blokes a fucking wanker as far as I'm concerned. Nolan, Nolan's fuckin iPad, Noble all em. Bunch of fucking useless wankers."

"Jacob steinberg who is quite reliable and close to the club has tweeted that there is a slim chance that Rodgers could take over if cսnt chops gets the boot - this is what my mate has said aswell, he said that Sullivan was interested IN Rodgers and that Brendan himself wanted to get back into football quickly. But a draw could see Moyes safe tommorow Surely anything but a win and he's gone."
