Re: Moyes Out
"Howe and Moyes are complete opposites when it comes to using the squad they've built. Howe has used the most players this season, Moyes has used the least. One flogs his players to death, the other doesn't. Perhaps that's why?"

Re: Moyes Out
"Thats the fickle nature of Football Lee! lose a couple of games in the PL and the media start speculating, but im not sure Howe is getting the same sort of blame Moyes is for the injurys???? Paqueta for example is now out but from some of the comments on WHO this is all Moyes fault, Really? Like the player himself may have said he was fine, the medical staff may have said he's good to play, but oh no he went off early so its all down to Moyes, no evidence its down to him, just pure blinkered hatred. The other thing is im open to getting new manager but only if its an upgrade, so who is available???? But it seems the Moyes out Mafia who keep spouting Moyes out are like the far left in Politics anyone who questions the narrative or logic of sacking him is immediately labeled a Moyes lover and cunted for it. And just going back to the media you speak of, they are almost 100% in the perplexed camp as to why there is this Moyes out campaign from SOME of the Wet Ham fans?"

Re: Moyes Out
"Not sure this injury crisis will be the end of Moyes, if we really have one, i know its unlikely but the fringe players may well step up? I see Newcastle's season got well and truly derailed by injuries but don't see anyone blaming Eddie Howe?"

"The funny thing is, he's going to have to rely on Cornet now. Good job he hasn't treated him terribly."

"Anyway, this injury crisis we have got will be the end of Moyes. We will drop like a stone and our complete lack of squad depth will be paid bear for all to see."

Re: Moyes Out
"southbankbornnbred 5:26 Mon Jan 8 Th's exactly what it is. Our best creative midfielder has been shipped out to the left when we have Cornet who is a left attacker. So that Moyes can shoe-horn Soucek into a midfield that already has JWP and Alvarez. Now I know that he is playing Soucek more advanced. But, fuck me, the bloke can't do the basics, and so if he doesn't throw himself onto the end of a cross in 90 minutes and score, he offers nothing else."

Re: Moyes Out
"Reality is Moyes gets a very easy ride from the press They all seem afraid to ask him the probing /searching questions as if ""how dare you question me"" We will fall like a stone 2nd half of the season and the question about his contract renewal will be back on the table"

"Only goes to show that when key players are fit, they have to be used properly. So asking them to play out of position to accommodate Soucek might not have been such a good idea after all."

"Eerie Descent 6:26 Tue Jan 9 Blimey, that's not good. I reckon we'll be even more disgusting to watch without the likes of Paqueta, Bowen and Kudus out for a while."

Re: Moyes Out
"Paqueta 4 weeks out Bowen injury not looking good Kudus injured with Ghana Antonio another month out at least Mavropanos, Our only decent looking centre back at the moment, not looking good with his injury The leather faced dinosaur is gonna have to earn his dough, that's for sure. We've been ridiculously lucky up to this point, and even luckier it's all happened now, but if he used the squad properly in general, and we could win games in other ways rather than purely relying on moments of magic, we could've rested players against a shit Bristol City team and not had this situation."
Re: Moyes Out
"""Weren't there stories of Moyes visiting RB Leipzig?"" --------------------------- Yes but that was in his early days when he wanted to be seen as progressive and he even talked about reducing our reliance on signing established stars by getting youth more involved. . In fact he probably told Sullivan that he would as a condition of the job to seek a younger team. The bullshit obviously worked well as we have one of the oldest sides in PL..."
Re: Moyes Out
"Moyes from that era where Alan Hanson famously quoted ""you win nothing with kids""ù ? Indoctrinated / embossed in his nut. Will be interesting how many of the City kids that our lads beat several times actually make it either at City or elsewhere. Tye previous generation I can only see Palmer in the top tier and of course Foden but possibly there are others ? We had Johnson and Rice although Cullen is in the Prem now too"

Re: Moyes Out
Moyes doesn't trust any youth players full stop Man City fully embrace their youth players and we ran them close last season so surely our players must be on an equal footing to them Oscar Bobb and Rico Lewis are 2 city players that made the transition because the whole set up at the Etihad is to develop their future We are light years behind in terms of infrastructure and a pathway to the 1st team

Re: Moyes Out
Another factor where Moyes is being strange about Cornet is that they linked up well when he and Paqueta were at Lyon so he'd know from them what was expected and surely look to continue that?

"""I've never seen or heard tales about his dedication and pure commitment to the job"" Weren't there stories of Moyes visiting RB Leipzig? There could be some legs in that. He could have gone there to learn to do the exact opposite to what they do."

"South - I don't think Moyes is the most intelligent bloke around, probably a bit lazy too. I've never seen or heard tales about his dedication and pure commitment to the job, like you do with say a Eddie Howe or Gary O'Neil. I doubt the bloke is asked about different types of data and probably wouldn't know where to look etc."

Re: Moyes Out
"That's another thing that I find strange about Moyes. He's done well for us, few could argue that he hasn't - even if they style has been like watching paint dry. But he has very specific requirements for certain roles/players. Yet after all these decades in management, I'm not sure he's that great at spotting ""Moyesball"" players. It's still very hit and miss. Hence he spent £30m on Scamacca, then moaned to journalists that his in-game ""data"" was all wrong. That's info that was freely available to him before he signed the bloke."
