Moyes Out ( Released )
"Posted the same last year. Nothing has changed, except win don't win matches anymore. I'm fed up, we can do much better"
Re: Moyes Out
"If he had to take Antonio off then Ings should have been the change Soucek Alvarez Kudus Ings Paqueta Bowen that should of been the shape, putting Ben Johnson on was fucking mental, there isn't anyone on earth that can explain that as the correct sub to make IF and i mean IF you don't bring Ings on, then you move Kudus over to RW and stick Johnson LB and Emerson LM don't you..... Stick Kudus in his best position to be an outlet and pin back Digne.......but even then its still the complete wrong fucking move to make Its not even up for debate"

Re: Moyes Out
"No we weren't getting overrun in midfield, Antonio was a constant thorn in their side to the point Emery had to make changes and we always looked threatening going forward when he was on the pitch. And only a thicko like you would find that saying difficult to understand."

Re: Moyes Out
"""he really should have subbed him for a very experienced half decent specialist Striker "" We were getting over run in midfield. ""I was always brought up on ""the best form of defence, is to attack"" Then you are an idiot."

Re: Moyes Out
"Of course they are not like for like, one's a brick shit house and the other has a moody hair transplant with shit dance moves. However, they are both Strikers, in fact technically Ings is our only actual specialist senior Striker at the Club, whilst we continue to fudge along with Bowen and Antonio - as admirably as they both manage. So when taking off Antonio (which we shouldn't at that time anyway with over half an hour to play), he really should have subbed him for a very experienced half decent specialist Striker so to keep the pressure on Villa's clearly shakey defence on the day. And even if we don't manage to score again, we at least keep them honest and worried about us defensively, rather than the other way around, especially being the Home Team. Instead Moyes stance was to make us worry about them defensively by bringing on yet another defender. I was always brought up on ""the best form of defence, is to attack"". Moyes was brought up on ""Bollocks to attacking, I get a raging hard-on at the sight* of my Teams defending for their lives!"" *as well as Sheep porn"

Re: Moyes Out
"""Moyes brought on Johnson to shore up shop and see out a 1-0 win. Yes we should have been more than 1-0 up by that point but we weren't and Moyes had given up trying to score another. It didn't work. We conceded more possession and Villa soon scored."" Ah, so Moyes got it across to the players not to try and score again. He's a mad man."

Re: Moyes Out
35% total possession for the game. Yet for the last quarter we had not even 25% of the ball. Moyes brought on Johnson to shore up shop and see out a 1-0 win. Yes we should have been more than 1-0 up by that point but we weren't and Moyes had given up trying to score another. It didn't work. We conceded more possession and Villa soon scored. Moyes is a defensive minded manager and always will be.

Re: Moyes Out
"Spot on Iron Duke People wanting a like for like don't understand football. He did, however, bring him on and it nearly won us the game. He changed it when we were getting played off the park and then nearly got the win. Yet all people talk about is how defensive he is, Ings for Antonio would have just seen more of the same and us getting battered."
Re: Moyes Out
"Hmm. If he brought on Ward-Prowse for Antonio, I could understand. If you're worried about us giving the ball back to the opposition too easily, I suggest that bringing on Johnson is not going to help things."

Re: Moyes Out
"So when we were getting run ragged by the change, you think a like to like replacement of Ings for Antonio would have changed that? Interesting He bought JWP on and it nearly (and should have) won us the game, but yeah, Moyes did fuck all right. We both created 13 chances with 5 on goal, Moyes is shit and defensive. Emre a tactical genius."
Re: Moyes Out
"Scum, so what did Moyes do in response to Emery's changes? What positive changes did he make that showed intent to win the game, because it only the other night he reminded the press after the Freiburg game that we always attack. What does he see that we don't and what are you seeing that we don't?"
Re: Moyes Out
"You have to appreciate Council that Moyes controls every West Ham tackle, pass, run, shot and save for the whole 90 minutes via the iPad that Nolan holds. Nothing that happens on the pitch is attributable to the players."

Re: Moyes Out
"""Comma, the fact remains that Moyes let them"" No doubt about it, Moyes got them in after a great half and told them to be shit when they come back out, it wasn't a great change by Emre at all."

Re: Moyes Out
"Manuel 1:44 Mon Mar 18 Nailed on. That's exactly what it is. Sad. Couldn't make the game yesterday due to daughters team midday kick off. But watched in pub and we all said how nice it was to hear the roar when we were 1-0 up and attacking and going for it. The stadium was bouncing. Why can't Moyes see / hear that and learn? First half we were great. Second half we revert to type. And Moyes had no need to change the whole shape and approach to accommodate Johnson. If Mickey is injured just replace with Ings. And if concerned about threat from Digne, just tell Kudus to sit deeper for a while and tell Coufal to press for a while and just sandwich him out the game. Then once job done tell Kudus to get up again and stretch Digne back into his own half creating space. Moyes jumps to the extreme defensive mode. 1-0 up. Mickey injured. Digne threatening wide. So he just goes full block. Put on a RB for a striker. We start to sit deep and lose all momentum. The bloke is fucking dangerous. He should pick the team and just fuck off out shopping somewhere and let the coaches manage the game."

Re: Moyes Out
"You could half understand it if we were in a dogfight, what is he holding back on, with 9 games left surely you should be going for it now, couple that with the break it makes no sense. Our support deserve more. When we break (nearly always down the flanks) you can hear a loud roar as we get excited with a rare attack. It's sad."
Re: Moyes Out
Moyes is so up his own arse it's unbelievable... he just does the same thing week in week out. He doesn't learn from his mistakes. Our only chance v Leverkusen is that we are behind after the first leg and we have no option but to go for it. Can you imagine if it's 0-0 or we fluke a 0-1 away... the 2nd leg would be like torture.
Re: Moyes Out
I read that too lowlife and obviously thought the same as you. Clearly the age of the team is too low for Moyes liking...
Re: Moyes Out
"I see the ""òreport' on BBC news that he plans to go in for Maguire again in the summer. If he stays it'll be more time wasted. He said in a recent interview that he'd been chasing Phillips for 3 years. Why does he get so fixated on certain players? If they don't want to come just move on to another target. I hope Tim is rolling his eyes."

Re: Moyes Out
"The subs were shit, no doubt, but the damage was done at half time for me. Even had he kept Paqueta and Antonio on and made other changes I doubt it would have made much difference as Villa were in full flow at that point. It's not too often you see 'two half's' in one half."
Re: Moyes Out
If the board keep Moyes on after teh summer break then we all know they have no ambitions beyond staying in the PL. Moyes clearly told the players to go defensive at half time. Takes off our one good striker and puts on a reserve full back come occasional midfielder? Takes off our two creative Brazilians - Emerson and Paqueta - and puts on our set piece specialist and reserve LB to improve what? Our defending of course...
Re: Moyes Out
"""Moyes obviously isn't a shit manager. In fact, he's a very good one, and has worked wonders since he came to West Ham, and taken us to the next level."" Disagree, first 2 seasons he was very good, last season and this season he has been one of the worst in the league. Yesterday another game to add to the list where we could have won had it not been for the manager. Putting on Ben Johnson RW and saying you tried to win the game just doesn't work. 2nd half became the latest edition of 'watch the other team play football at the OS' Can not wait for Moyes to fuck off"
