Again whats your point. So the US who would be spending the most on defence irrespective of their NATO membership suggests to the other members they need to spend more on defence. The minimum as agreed is still 2% Trump just makes up a number and you think everyone will just agree even if they cant afford it.

Even the 3.7% suggested is a massive jump for most countries. If the US threaten to leave NATO then that would be a massive blow. But is Trump really going to side with Russia against the West? Its a short-term risk while they wait for Trump to be removed!

It was agreed that we should all pay 2% of gdp. The uk have agreed to spend 2.5% rising to 2.7%. The cost around £6bn of the increase is coming out of the foreign aid budget.

So no we wont be paying more in tax for membership of NATO. Yet again you have no idea whats actually going on in the UK. So ffs stop making statements about stuff you have no idea about.

You better hope Trump is able to negotiate an end to the war, if he doesn’t you’ll be paying a lot more than 2.5%. Funding the war.
