Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

I suspect he's banking on Brand PL to augment his income - TV money and tourists "Coming to see the stars (of the other 19 teams) at the London Stadium" - assuming he hasn't already borrowed (and pissed up the wall) against those income streams, too.

And as for someone coming in to buy us? Forget it. The risk of us dropping out of the PL next season is too high and Championship games are not what tourists and/or most TV viewers want to see.

The genius business minds of David Sullivan and Karen Brady.

- Broadcast to the world for months that we want to sell Kudus and that he has an £85m clause
- Then when the window opens tell the entire world that we're skint and cant do any business until we sell.
- Act surprised when derisory offers come in for Kudus.
- Start panicking that no players have sold at the prices we want and broadcast that we wont enforce the £85m clause.
- Act tough in the press when another derisory offer materialises from a hated local rival.
- Two days after tough guy act, completely capitulate, put on a little dress, get on hands and knees and suck Levy's dick for the equivalent of peanuts and give away arguably one of the three good players in the squad.
- Get laughed at by everyone. Again.

What a pair of hopeless embarrassing cunts. Imagine being this bad at business when you claim this is your primary talent. Fuck me.

Die in a fire Sully son, take ol jelly tits with you.

BSOUT

As for Kudus, I long believed his attitude stank and all about him and not the Team. Talented sure when it's going his way, but when it's not this cսnt downs tools quicker than Starmers father.

I can’t think of any top PL side that would not benefit from Kudus in their squad.

But it appears there is but one prepared to pay £55m for the pleasure.

Can’t say I am that bothered about him going. Don’t care he went to the yids either as I they are going to struggle again next season. I was more bothered about Rice going Arsenal.

has any club “willingly” sold one of their star players to a hated rival, after finishing above them?
I think this is kind of unheard of right?

I can’t remember the last time that happened if at all.
normally it would be a fire sale after relegation. but not like this.
I get the CL thing but this is just odd.

I can’t think of any top PL side that would not benefit from Kudus in their squad. it’s clear that the club owners are just not fans of the club at all. No fan would do this. It’s just crazy.

We are a wanky shitty club or whatever it is you said, but we are not (NOT) well stocked at left back. Not even fucking close
It's no glowing endorsement, but compared to other areas of the pitch we are.

Quite frankly, based on last year's performances Kudus isn't worth £55m. Whether he can recapture the form he showed in his first season remains to be seen. Hopefully, he won't. His International form suggests he just might not, but time will tell.

It had reached a point that he was never going to perform for us; he wants the Champions League. All the talk of keeping him until we get his real value is nonsense.  His real value is what somebody is prepared to pay and where the player is prepared to move to. The Saudi's would have paid more, but it didn't mean that was his real value. His value was what the market determined and because there was no real interest other than Spurs it became a buyer's market. Another bad season with us and not even Spurs would be in for him

By all means slag off Sullivan but the real problem stems from the poor performance post our European success and the disastrous waste of money on players by Lopetegui

Anyway, we can look forward to mercilessly slagging him off when he walks out against us.

Read somewhere -  "Kudus has a buyout clause that is only active for the first 10 days of July, valued at £80million ($108m) for teams on the continent, £85m for those in the Premier League and £120m for those in Saudi Arabia."

What's the point in having a buyout clause for just 10 days?!  Thought all this ground move was meant to push us on to better things but nothing changes under these parasites.  Absolute disaster as always.  Looks like we will have a squad of about 14 players at this point!  I think Bowen will be next and who can blame him.  It's a Cottee situation all over again.  Top player sees other top players being sold off and replaced by average replacements or no replacements at all.  Wouldn't blame Bowen at all if he buggered off.

Now I understand why Potter kept his job. What decent manager in their right mind would let these calibre of players go? And to a fucking rival?
Potter is in on the deconstruction of this whole club.
he’s agreed to it all.
they going to try and hover in the bottom half for years with shitty players.
Were going to be in the football wilderness.
the signs are all there.

They’re an absolute shower of cunts. No two ways about it.

should never deal with them, ever.

As for all that bullshit they used to spout about not having to sell to rivals when we move, wankers.

If I hadn’t already given up my ST, this would be what would do it.

Every day that passes solidifies my fears about relegation. Selling Kudus is effectively giving up on the PL. Might as well cash in on Bowen as well.

Sullivan is a clueless scum bag that needs him and his whole shitcunt family hounded out, along with Brady.

This era is reminding me a bit of when we lost Cole, carrick, Kanoute etc. all went on to do great in other teams but couldn’t do anything when they were with us. All because of the manager and the club not taking advantage of the talent we have.

and then we were in the wilderness buying shitty players for ages.

There will be a time when we wonder what the fuck happened when we had Kudus, Paq, Alvarez etc all in the same team and were shit. I don’t think we’ll ever learn.

The irony will be if Bowen gets a serious injury and we have no decent right winger, when we had kudus…

I dunno..
weird.

They’ll have Marshall down as the back up right winger which is where he played mostly for Huddersfield
it’s looking like our entire game plan for the season is hoping that about 3 or 4 of the kids are gonna be premier league standard
which is gonna be highly unlikely
down from 8/1 to 6/1 for relegation with most bookies now
I’m just hoping this is finally the season where Sullivan gets his comeuppance, I just wanna see karma get the little shit and get him the fuck out of this club
