I regard Jungle a serious band that definitely own their unique funky sound like no other. Amazing Live too.

I do like them, not sure they will be regarded as a great band  but they are easy to listen to.  Bit like zero 7, you could put them on, chill out a bit - no pressure.

Al Stewart.   Time Passages

Al Stewart will be 80 in September and he’s embarking on the UK leg of his farewell tour soon.   Think I’ve seen him about 9 times over the years. He is always good live.

dm wrote: 07 Aug 2025, 11:24 A minidisc I recorded a while ago consisting of my favourite tracks from the albums Down to Earth and Long Live Rock n Roll by Rainbow.  I also put I Surrender and Stargazer onto the minidisc as there was room.
Stargazer, Eyes of the World, Rainbow Eyes , and Gates of Babylon are absolutely excellent tracks.

Could agree more DM.
When I first heard Rainbow it was the Down to Earth album, thought Eyes of the world was the nuts

Then discovered the 3 albums with Ronnie and I was hooked

Gates of Babylon is the fuckin bollocks as is Kill the King.
