Then they can blame the far right, bring in more draconian laws and at the same time divert people's attention away from the economic catastrophe we are heading towards.
And it makes me beam with joy that so far the general public have smelt the nick-bait and have smartly ignored it.

If there is anyone on here who thinks that two tier justice doesn't exist in the UK,then please post your reasoning behind your thinking. Genuinely interested how anyone can possibly defend today's decision in light of previous verdicts for some of those charged with 'incitement

The defence was ‘my client is left wing and therefore a victim by nature, so any aggression by him, was and always is excusable’
The left wing jury all agreed. And there was much rejoicing.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
It was seen on video by everyone. There should have been no defence.
Having said that none of us have sat through the complete trial so we don’t know how compelling the defence argument was.
This shows that the jury system is not fit for purpose.
We all saw video evidence of Stephen Gerrard duffing up a DJ. He was found not guilty
WE all saw video evidence of a bunch of far left facists knocking down a statue. They were found not guilty
Even Harry Redknapp was found not guilty when the evidence against him was compelling and his excuses frivolous.
Judges too keep making silly decisions, which seem to indicate a left liberal bias, Think of all the criminals that are given a right to remain in the UK, and how they sabotaged the Rwanda policy. The justice system is failing the ordinary population of law abiding tax payers.
This piece of shit walking free is a fucking outrage

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
Why you making excuses its a fucking discussing verdict?
im not a conspiracy theorist but clearly there is something serious wrong with our justice system

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
What angers me more is the lawyers who told those people arrested after the Southport murders to plead guilty so they would be treated more leniently.
They were lied to.
Connolly would have been found not guilty if she had gone to trial.
This Labour government makes the Tories look competent

He was seen on tv saying the other lot were nazis and we should cut their throats and drew hos finger across his throat
I dont need to be at court to know that is just as bad or worse than a tweet from a house wife. She got 3 years
This is frankly diagraceful

The not guilty verdict just shows what contrary verdicts juries come up with.
Having said that none of us have sat through the complete trial so we don’t know how compelling the defence argument was.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
I'm convinced that both the Tories and Labour want Reform to get into power.
Reform will get into power next election, make the difficult (easy) decisions on immigration, then get voted out for one of them to get back into power saving them from having to make that difficult (easy) decision which is likely to lose them votes.

I don't normally comment on political threads but I'm truly shocked by this!
It's gonna be a lively weekend.
Jury 'deliberated' for just 30 minutes! WTAF!
