Was reading that we are entitled to play 25 matches a season at London Stadium with a set fee per match 
The women’s team aren’t included in this arrangement but we have offered the same fee per match & the legacy lot are demanding double 
Understand we haven’t played a women’s match there since 2019 because of that.
What NEEDS to happen is that all the fans of women’s football need to commit to buying 60,000 tickets at £50 each (discount for kids & OAP’s) to justify a game there.

I presume the limit of games West Ham are allowed to play at London Stadium stops us from doing that?

Saw a bit on the sports news of the opening GLAMOUR game between Chelsea & Man City & Stamford Bridge looked to have the upper tiers empty. What was the attendance & why wasn’t it full?

Its not as popular as the mens game and never will be.
i think they should play the same day as the men at all stadiums. A double bill, supporting act, BOGOF included in the ticket price. I suppose most wouldnt turn up early or stay late to watch the women, but some would - a family could make a day of it or others might just come in early for a drink and watch a bit. Even more controversial would be to reduce the womens to 30 or 35 mins a half. But im just turning the world on its head here.

They've lost a couple of characters recently in Dagny and Kate Longhurst, now mainly foreign players. I am positive about womens football and look out for the results but this seems to be turning into a West Ham team in name only, if young women from the area are not involved.

Similar to the men's team then with no men from the area in the regular starting line up. And much like the other 19 mens teams in the Premier League.

The men's team for all it's faults does still seems to have a core of English players and Londoners. It's a shame women's football is leaving the grass roots as surely that's it's main purpose in being. 

Yes, one thing I give the Potter regime a small degree of credit for is recruiting some English players after we became mostly foreign under 'loser Lop', such as getting Ward-Prowse back and signing Wilson and Walker-Peters this summer (though of course they were most likely Sullivan driven cheapskate freebies).

A core of Bowen, Kilman, Ward-Prowse, Wan-Bisaka (London born and raised), Walker-Peters and Wilson as senior pros isn't much in a 25 man squad, but it's better than a lot of Premier League clubs.

It will be interesting to see how Martinez does this season. She was smashing in the goals during the last half of the season, so if she can keep up that form we’ll do alright. It’s nice to have a German up front who scores goals, but we’ll probably struggle to keep hold of her.

Elsewhere, London Lionesses (no affiliation with our south of the river friends) have been promoted and are breaking records with their spending. We will struggle to compete with the other teams because we don’t spend anything because the sole ambition is to remain in the top league. A bit like the men’s team.
