Re: Paqueta off end of season
Not sure if it means he's definitely off next season, but it does imply he's looking to do the whole season.
But like everything else, things change. I would say at the moment he seems to want to be here, which is good news given his current form.
Mind you, I thought he would have gone in the Summer and I wouldn't have been upset, but now? As I said, everything changes

Re: Paqueta off end of season
As is usual with today's social media. It's been twisted to cause a headline . Even if he did leave next season I'm 99% sure he'll end up in another country either Saudi or the USA . Hopefully we'll have new owners by then . NO MORE BS .

I love a rose garden especially if they have Golden Trumpets (Brazil's national flower)
Re: Paqueta off end of season
Can't blame Paqueta.
Brazilian international, in a team that's at the lower end of the Premiership, no European football, etc.
As for rubbing our hands on how much we could get, not so great, we will end up with one or two players on a free.

Believe we have a year's option...still selling with 2 years left makes total sense. He has pretty much one big move left in his career while near his peak. We get decent money if he plays well at the World Cup. And we need to keep making big sales whilst PSR remains in effect. This is really a win-win alround (much as he's my favourite player and I'd not want to see him go).

Re: Paqueta off end of season
Open to interpretation due to use of English, but it sounds like it.
Bit poor on his part if that is what he means, especially the timing. Basically a 'come and get me' which seems pretty out of order and is likely just going to lead to us getting lowballed again. I bet sullivan is furiously wanking himself dry to this news.
As long as we get a fair price then OK I guess, if he doesn't really want to be here. He's tried to leave at least once before.
