Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
So next Saturday is the first protest with a pre-game march.
Thought a thread to organise within the context of WHO, who's going, anyone that wanted to get slurps before and after etc might be worth doing.
I'll confirm the logistics of things and post them up as well.

My choice is to support the team v Brentford & fans could remain in the ground to protest
Refuse to leave til midnightThere is an 11pm curfew to exit the London Stadium. Event organisers need special dispensation to extend the curfew for late-finishing concerts and the like.
I won't be there but a sit in after the match is a good idea for those who want to show their feelings. It doesn't effect the team for this important match but would be a real fucking nuisance to the stadium operators., who will have to pay overtime to the fucked off staff and presumably have to try and remove the fans - police? . Could turn nasty and embarrassing.

Hammers United Protest Update
Brentford boycott
It would appear that thousands of West Ham fans are intent on supporting the No More BS campaign’s call for a boycott of the Brentford home game.

Have to disagree, we are just one of many clubs in the way we are run.
Let's look at PL, are Man It'd well run and 'digital? Chelsea? Everton? Many PL clubs are run in the sale way as us just supporters of clubs think they're the only ones.

These princesses have been mugged off by the board in the media. This obsession with nice peaceful gentle protest is a load of old rubbish, the only time a protest works is when it's loud and vociferous and causes issues.
the laughing at all these getle peaceful protests.

Did the board indeed have to drive past it all or did they weasel in another way?I don't think there was any chance of Sullivan or Brady coming through those gates unless they bunked down on one of the coaches or came in very early doors.
In general the protesters were very well behaved and good natured. but managed at the same time managed to get the point across.
The transfer busses presumably used for the elderly and disabled were able to navigate through the crowd quite easily and there was no real obstructing of the gates when vehicles came through.
The team coaches got a decent reception
Yeah I figured they’d find a way in to avoid it. Imagine they just turned up a couple of hours earlier than usual. Actually more likely they probably kicked all the disabled people off their transfer bus and took that instead. Seems like the sort of thing they’d do.

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
Once Brady goes she will be gorging herself at the cheeseboard at her team Arsenal and we’d never see her again
Sullivan will be looking for another club to drain dry
They should be lepers now & their attendance made miserable
The next game v Brentford has to see direct action against these parasites

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
If the protests actually achieve their goal of making Sullivan and Brady stand down, would they still be welcomed into the directors box come match days?
For me it’s too much of an ask, I never want to see the hideous faces of Brady, Sullivan or his embarrassment of a sort of woman again. Standing down isn’t enough, they should be treated like lepers.

It's easier in that people who agree don't have to do so much - they don't have to go somewhere early, you're not asking them to miss a game entirely - just stay in the concourse for a bit. As long as it's a TV game it'll look great.
OK but if the majority of people don't get or receive this message and actually go to their seats its gonna look like a massive support for the board

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
Looked about a couple of thou from the Live stream I saw of it. Whatever it was it was a decent enough turn out for a protest cobbled together quickly only a few weeks ago. Well done 62Hammer.
Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
I went along at 12.45 and guessed a couple of thousand. But I'm pretty useless at guessing crowds. As said, people were arriving as some were leaving, so it would be difficult to get an accurate figure. Probably won't do any good but what else can you do?

Re: Hammers United Protests | Who's Going?
When I turned up around one o clock I reckon there was around 2.5k there but some more joined on as others left.
If you fancied taking the mike and having your say you could of done.
Realistically it needs more to come along and make some noise as well as boycotting all club merchandise and the like
The only thing I buy now is my match tickets.
