You're looking at this all wrong. We NEED a Macaulay at the club to identify players who fit a predetermined system, contribute to the team and represent a future big profit.

We don't have the right people at the most senior levels to support this.

If we had such a system yielding returns year on year, we would then NEED a Steidten type at the club who could use the extra money to attract marquee signings he has identified from overseas.

But again, we don't have the right people at the club to finance this.

West Ham have had both of these experts in the last couple of seasons but has neither financed nor supported them for any length of time to do their jobs properly, then blamed those experts for gullible idiots on this site and elsewhere so it looks like they wasted money and time.

Even if that were true, it would be terrible management to chase these appointments, pay them good money then pay them to leave. But it isn't true, they began a project each that the club wouldn't sustain so they were made scapegoats.

Good riddance along with his other Chelsea failure that was so predictable to me would go tits up.

The financial waste forked out by the Club on all this is ridiculous and was totally avoidable. 🎪

Hopefully though it'll mean it's 1 step closer for Brady to get the boot having been her star picks as management...

Just been officially binned on the OS

A very short statement reflecting the club’s embarassment? Well you’d hope they would be embarassed especially after Brady’s 100 word recent statement that talked about how the club’s future was being secured by the recruitment strategy of Potter and Macaulay 🤣

They ( Brady mostly but Sullivan too ) literally dress every reactive knee jerk decision up as if it is part of a well thought out plan.  They dont and never had a plan other than increasing their wealth thru the asset West Ham.

We really do need people running the club who understand and have experience of building a strong football club. “No more BS”

You're definitely up there with Jaan in the ALWAYS being negative about every signing just so I can say "I told you so" camp. Not sure why you'd want to boast about it though.

Apparently he ripped it up in Spain as well in the first 10 games, no one wanted to sign him in the end out there though.

Geezer is a melt.

He's a mixed bag for me of sometimes good and sometimes bad but he was also a part of the Team that helped us win a European Trophy, as did Emerson.

I do agree that he was an absolute cսnt for how he behaved in trying to get out the Club which was muggy, regardless of how much of a car crash the Club currently is.

I'm just not surprised that either are doing well when they leave us (just as Aguerd did playing in Spain on loan) which says a lot about how poorly run we are to me than anything.

In fairness, I thought Aguerd was going to be a good signing for us when he first rocked up. It was after a good few games he played that i realised he was utter pony.

I do turn quicker than milk out the fridge once I've seen enough.

They've played 4 games in the French league, calm down.

Aguerd refused to play for us to force a move. The end.

Talking of Aguerd and Emerson for that matter, they both continue to rip the cսnt out of it playing at Marseille since they left to join them in both the League and Champions League. Marseille had lost 2 of their first 3 games and now cannot stop winning and conceding very few, even beating the Champions League holders in the process.

Ag, like you  weren’t  all for Lopetegui and the Kilman signing.
Eerie is always fairly positive about new signings or at least willing to give them a chance (even if he usually  ends up hating most of them). I'd say that's better than doing what you do, which is ALWAYS say this new player or manager is shit, and then a few months down the line come out with "I told you so", as if being always negative about West Ham makes you some kind of Nostradamus.

For the record I had a look at what Eerie said about Kilman when we signed him. Seems pretty even handed to me:

"Not a signing I particularly wanted us to make, admittedly because of what I'd read Wolves fans saying, and the couple of times I've seen him play I can't say he ever stood out. However, the manager has worked with him and clearly rates him, he comes with a clean slate for me so I'll give him time to see what he's about. I've seen that Ollie Watkins said he's one of the toughest CB's that he's come up against, so let's see. One thing I'll absolutely guarantee, is that he'll be better than that clown Aguerd."

Rather than make stuff up, go and find what I said, and post it up, instead of this lying rat behaviour.

Being prepared to give players & managers a chance when they first rock up, is not being all for them. Try again.

Ahahahahaha,
The inevitable has happened where 'a club source' has said potter and Macauley had nothing to do with Diouf or Fernandes (i.e. the signings that have had the most upside so far) despite what was written at the time.

Fancy that. Who could have seen that coming?

Fuck the wasteful cսnt off along with Potter. £40M for Fernandes, £20M for Hermansen, this the same chap that scouted and wanted Mudryk for £89M at Chelsea.

He aint the answer to our recruitment strategy especially when he also seeked new Full Backs we didn't need at the expense of getting in a young quality Striker with that money. That as well as clog up pathways for our own Academy players to progress.

Can't wait to see the back of him along with his useless pal Potter.
