Anyone speak to the usual mob who used to flood this place on a daily basis?

Me personally I had a kid, went through hell and back then started up back in Estate agency, so only really now got more time to post albeit now and then, mainly because it's so quiet on here now days.

Think I'm falling out of love with football generally.
I lasted for the first 20 mins of the Liverpool/ Man Utd on Sunday before I turned the tele off and went back to the book I'm reading. The best i can do is go on you tube and watch all the goals from the weekend games, I just get almost nothing from watching a whole game anymore. 
Just grateful to have been a fan when the game was genuinely exciting and West Ham looked like a football club worth caring about.

I feel like some of this is about pure quantity.

I've gone the same way with cricket....used to love watching it, but now it's so relentlessly available, that maintaining following of it is frankly overexposed.

Football is more of the same with the wall to wall coverage, over saturation, talk shows, podcasts, YouTube, European games etc etc.

Couple that with the increased movement of football to some kind of gentrification that seeks to remove real passion from the sport in favour of fame and money-orientated sensationalism, and it's just so hard to feel a connection to the experience anymore.

Which is why I've started to watch non league games more and more....added bonus Hornchurch are top of the league undefeated 

No ta. I wanna be entertained by the likes of Di Canio, Le Tissier, Gazza, Henry, Bergkamp from Holland. Not part-timers Jonesy, McDonald, Gaz from the Postie, Henry the Butcher or Bernard from Holland and Barretts. With all due respect to non-League. Thing is these superstar talents would produce it every fucking week in games!

I wanna see proper seat of your pants mind-blowing top level Football again. The frustrating part is the ability and quality is there, if only they were allowed to express themselves properly and trusted on the pitch. Instead of being bogged down by stats obsessed Staff demanding they all hit their weekly KPI's in Training and matches that they think means better tangible results on a spreadsheet at the expense of releasing endless endorphins via our eyes for all our viewing pleasure. 

BRING BACK THE STEP-OVERS, NO LOOK PASSES, FLICKS AND TRICKS WITH THE OCCASIONAL OUTRAGEOUS GRAVITY DEFYING VOLLEY LIKE THEY'RE FLOATING ON AIR.

I'd ban all of it from the Dugouts and tell them to get back to coaching properly again instead of this distracting nonsense and just let the boys play ..

Too many Teams and players under orders now are far too afraid to attack and would rather stay camped in their own half at times - Yes even Arsenal do this! - Set-pieces have become the holy grail of scoring goals rather than a nice supplement to scoring. 

Sickens me to see all these 'Coaches' transfixed to cunting screens in the dugouts pouring over who should be doing what precisely in every 1st, 2nd and 3rd fucking action. Even prats in the Gods watching on transmitting what they are seeing to the dugout or to the point I now see Frank handing out fucking Essays to players to read before being subbed on.

Footballers are proper thick as fuck as well yet they keep getting bombarded with endless often over complicated instructions that even Stephen Hawking would struggle to understand.

70s and 80s included.  Can't remember when I last watched a live game that wasn't West Ham or a MOTD all the way through it's just so boring with players going down holding their faces when not touched, diving, the incapability of using both feet and a general lack of skill and technique. It's worldwide as well it seems.  What International team has a side as good as say they had 20 years ago.  For me Germany 90, Brazil 82, Argentina 86 and probably even England from Euro 96 would win the World Cup these days.  Not even sure where the rot started setting in, but probably 2016 with Payet was the last season I really enjoyed West Ham anyway.

Maybe it’s an age thing, but I’m quite happy scrolling away with my thumb ignoring half the bollocks posted by a few I can think of to focus on posts by people who I do like reading from.

As I get older, my intolerance for stupidity grows year on year. My desire now is to reduce the number of times each day that I have to say ‘for fuck’s sake’, by attempting to minimise ALL the things that I see, hear and read that make this happen. In light of this, many would say that continuing to visit WHO at all is probably massive folly, and they are almost certainly right.

If I do miss any worthwhile content after engaging the foe function on any particular poster, then this is a risk that I am happy to take.

Ive got a great idea, someone should organise a fight between two middle aged posters, at the bull in stratford before the brentford game. It would be great publicity for WHO and encourage new members. Maybe a PPV live stream opportunity as well.

Council Scum could judge the fight then Massive Attack can tell him he got it wrong.
