Sit-in after Newcastle game
Here's the latest protest to surface.
Stay in your seats after the final whistle at the Newcastle game.
This is going to test the resolve of our fans as many leave early nowadays and I'm not sure many will fancy staying if we are 3-0 down after 70 minutes.
Brady & Sullivan Out.

That shows how thick some fans are
They are not boycotting the owners but the team form not winning.

Re: Sit-in after Newcastle game
Any good tips on parking around the bowl?
Got myself a ticket as I here on family stuff and with the sit-in I guess it’s good value as I will use the seat for longer.
Stubbo, where’s the match thread?

Sort of leading from the back here, and i live abroad and if i was there, i'd have to rush off before waitrose closes anyway. . .but it might be attention worthy if a few hardcore sneaked a tent in and set up camp for the week.

I personally think its a total waste of time and like the boycott sadly going to fail and have any sort of impact
Corrected for you.

That was reported on Sky as supporters staying away as the team is at the bottom of the league. A sit-in after a game is unlikely to get mentioned on Sky unless there are many thousands of rowdy supporters. Even if there are, does anyone think Sullivan will care? Still, if it makes a few people feel good, no harm done.

I presume you'll be with the chaps on Sunday..?

Not looking forward to spending more time in there than I have to on Sunday, but if a sit-in is arranged then I'll do my bit and join it. Don't get all the people who prioritise their decision making independence by taking an attitude to it all then bemoan the state of the club. You either pull together and try and do something together - whether you think it's the most effective thing to do or not - or just give up and stop supporting the club. Undermining people's efforts by not joining in when you aren't willing to make any effort to get involved in some other way is rancid.
i would like all WHU going to the match to get behind the team from start to finish...if only for one reason...PRIDE.

Re: Sit-in after Newcastle game
This match is a call to arms for all WHU as far as I'm concerned .
Sing loud and proud and get behind the players from the off ..you never know ..it might help.
Then let the owners know what we think of them afterwards .

Re: Sit-in after Newcastle game
It may not get as much coverage but its to be applauded imho. There are very few ways to voice objections and protest against the incompetent owner and his iver promoted sidekick. Sustaining the different types of, and number of people at, the protests is critical to tgeir success. I still think “dress like a clown” to portray the owner and his circus like running of the club will make for great optics if enough fans dress up or attend with painted faces, red noses and “crusty the clown” hair. Hammers United and FAB should make the red noses, hair and face paint available?
What a great look when the cameras pan in to clise ups of the fans. Certainly will get them talking ?

Re: Sit-in after Newcastle game
I've bought a cheapo special offer ticket for this one as don't want too lay out more dough than necessary to watch a probable defeat.
£30 for block 230 row 60
I will be joining up for the sit in after though

Re: Sit-in after Newcastle game
Reading into an e-mail recently sent from the club to Hammers United on this issue, the club don't really seem too concerned.
Presumably any extra cost in stewardship after the game will be paid for by the LDDC and not the club, so, for them it's, like, bothered.

May not be as headline grabbing , but I'm happy to run on the pitch and shit in the centre spot.
Forget the Sit-in and have a Shit-in
Everyone can curl one out on their seat and then fuck off to westfields as normal.
