100% bonfide Pottsy trait that he's passed down to his son. Bit eerie at times to see such a similar calmness watching him out there, like watching his Dad again striding about like nothings a problem or fuss.

He was exactly the kind of character the Team needed to help it settle down at just the right time. He's got that presence about him like an old veteran.

An extremely impressive game for the lad. Fucking ridiculous to think this was his first PL start when you think about it, considering the dog shit start we’ve made to the season.Keep it up Freddie son. Hopefully a very bright future awaits in the claret and blue👍

Considering he was up against Tolani and the two Brazilians in the middle made his performance even more impressive.

some clever passes. Moves the ball quick and gets about the pitch well. Not afraid of a challenge either.

if he can play at that level regularly then we have a serious player on our hands.

It was an excellent starting debut. He is confident on the ball and I loved how he sniffed out danger a few times and got tackles and interceptions in. Dare I say he has a touch of Rice about him.

Mental that pathetic Potter ignored him. What a clown that bloke is.

What encouraged me a lot was seeing how at ease he found it considering the fast paced nature of the Premier League. He didn't look like he struggled at all to keep up for the entire game, still going right at it almost scoring himself late on driving forward for a goal. So unlucky but feel there's plenty more goals left in him to score in the future.

Did really well today, he more than held his own and was very unlucky to have goal ruled out.  Hoping to see him as a regular starter from now on.

But a bit funny though that a couple weeks ago, he wasn't in your lineup, bust Soucek was ..😉
Wanted the boy to start early on in the season because of how well he performed in Pre-Season and kept asking for him to start in other games, so the desire to start him has long been there.
