Musk and his potential trillion dollar pay package

Post Come On You Irons »

This sums up more than anything how screwed up the modern world is. One man potentially sent to be awarded a 13 figure pay package if "targets" are met.

Clown world. And evil too.

that's one fortieth or so of the entire US National Debt and one over a quarter of the entire UK GDP. Mind boggling.

I’m sure he’s paying his fair percentage of tax, so nothing to worry about. Right?

Save your indignation for all the waste in the public sector. You actually pay for that.
This 100%.

The shareholders of Tesla (thats the owners) voted for this. It's their decision to make.

People piss and moan about a socialist mayor of NYC then moan about a free market capitalist pay award.

I think it's a stunt to be honest, lots of strings attached. I think he has to get 1 million self driving  taxis on the road to achieve it?

But for the bigger picture, individuals and corporations are approaching the point of having more wealth and assets than small/3rd world nations, so I expect the world will be carved up on non geographic lines in the future. Private armies, subscriptions replacing taxes, agm's replacing parliaments etc. Workhouses.

I blame 'phone' people.
And thatcher for privatising everything 😊

I'll second that.

I'd also challenge anyone who thinks that is (way) too much to state exactly how much they think he is worth paying, along with how, exactly, they came to those conclusions.
