Kieran Fox is a Gooner by the way.

Fucking Club is rotten from top to bottom. 💩

Unless of course the original post is proven to be true.

Some players in the U21s tonight were not wearing a poppy.
As I've said, that's the players choice.
Not neccesarily the decision of the club, because as you say, some players are not wearing one which indicates that others are. So, not dictated by the club.

Again, it should be made compulsory as it was before the change. This is the Clubs decision. They should be leading, not pandering to woke bollocks.

Honestly mate, what are the club supposed to do if the player chooses not to wear a poppy?
I fucking detest the board, but am not really sure what they've done wrong in this instance.
Unless of course the original post is proven to be true.

There should also be compulsory wearing of a badge pledging allegiance to our elected Prime Minister
Massive ,
You have been selected to appear on the pitch at 2.50pm to read the tribute to our much loved elected leader
Hope you can get through it without your voice breaking with emotion

It absolutely is the Clubs fault for pandering to 1 thing yet devalue the whole point of players representing our Club paying respects to those that lost their lives so we can all enjoy ours. It's not asking for much. It should have been left as compulsory if you want to represent this Football Club with strong links to the Blitz or indeed this lot...

After all, that's why our forefathers paid the ultimate sacrifice, to enable the generations that followed them to HAVE this choice.
I for one will always wear a poppy/pin purchased from the RBLI website annually.
To each their own, I suppose.

Yet players are guilty tripped in to taking the knee whenever the powers that be click their fingers.

I think the poppy appeal transcends the rest.  We're here, right here right now, because of ALL those who have fought in wars, whether win or lose.  And a lot of those who had died would have been pointless.

The army were also pretty instrumental early in the game of football (the Royal Engineers won the FA Cup after losing 3 finals including the first ever one) and helped spread the game around the world.

So yeah, I think they deserve a bit of respect in football.

The remembrance period is extremely significant, so it’s the one thing we should take time to reflect on, because without the sacrifices of brave men who laid their lives down, sitting here pissing and moaning as we do about the club might not have been a luxury we’d have been afforded.

If the club has decided to do this, the war in the club will increase and become more volatile.

Looking at the U21 game currently underway, it appears some are proudly sporting them but others are not wearing one. All Officials are wearing one. Can't see any of the Scousers wearing one either (shock).

Logic tells me this is total fiction drummed up to stir the pot ahead of tomorrows march.

I'm sure our players will have poppies on shirts and we will have the usual last post and wreaths etc as we have every other year

The club needs to address this asap though
