Re: England v All Blacks
With Finn Smith and George Ford preferred at 10 Marcus Smith is fast becoming an enigma for England, highly talented, but seems to be a bench player to cover at 10 or Freddie Steward at full back.

No mate, back playing for Sarries, think Borthwick has moved on from him now.

Re: England v All Blacks
I've thought it for ages, I reckon Marcus Smith as a 9 would be incredible, could be our Dupont. I just think his attributes would suit it so well, has the kicking game and would be such a running threat. He needs to be a guaranteed starter, as he's our most talented player by some distance.
Ford is a difficult one, he was brilliant yesterday, there's not much between them at the moment but I think we should stick with Finn Smith, has a better all round game and he'll improve come the world cup, whereas Ford won't.

Re: England v All Blacks
The impact of the Irish Kiwis is diminishing so they're not the force they were.
We're in decent shape and I agree with Ron, Borthwick is making gains despite his lack of charm.
I think behind the scrum is where we are lacking.
I wish we had a proper game changing scrum half and, despite his drop goal heroics yesterday, I dont see Ford as a world-beating 10 at the world cup when he's 34. Neither do I rate Roebuck or Dingwall much for that matter. Both scored but their tries were made by others and Roebuck cost us a try when he failed to kick ahead for Pollock. I'd prefer Arundell but I do think Borthwick has a blind spot with him

I think we slam the 6N. France away the stumbling block, but Borthwick, while I had my doubts, and while he lacks charisma, has made England competitive in every fixture. Desperate luck last autumns, thumping AB’s this.

Think we're in decent shape fella.
Ireland are currently rebuilding, and aren't the team they were a couple of years ago although still no mugs
They will come again however, and I think beating us ranks higher to them than the second coming of Christ, but just don't see it happening this year.
As always, France are the mob we should probably fear most in the SN, although looks like we have something about us now and perhaps the only team we should REALLY fear (if that's the right term) are the saffas.

I’ve missed all the autum games so far, but I’ll definitely be watching the highlights tonight.
For those far far superior knowledge than I, how are England looking for the 6 Nations?

Re: England v All Blacks
Decent game, that.
Looked a bit grim after 20 minutes, despite us looking decent for the opening 10.
Expected the AB machine to take over.
Great show of resilience from England, and ran out deserved victors.
Shame about the disallowed Ford try as think the enhanced score wouldn't have flattered us.
To be fair, have a feeling our own Jonah will probably agree.

Re: England v All Blacks
Cracking game and fully deserved win for England.
My boy in Perth watched it with a bunch of kiwi mates among others. Said it was one of the best days of his life.
