Well next up the Bin Dippers. Two ideals go to head to head in this match....The ideal time for us to play Liverpool after an horrific run of defeats and confidence at an all time low....and the ideal club for Liverpool to face to break their rut, with our unmatchable ability to fold in the face of reputation.

So who will prevail? The bookies certainly favour the Mickeys, making us about 4/1 to pull it off, and them odds on. But we're 3 unbeaten and approaching something close to a 'run of form'.

Mavropanos is back available, as is Fullkrug, Guilherme who subbed off for a rolled ankle was seen in training....but Summerville was conspicuous by absence, with Nuno characteristically coy on his Availability.

With Paqueta back from suspension, Wilson in fine form, and a more settled midfield, there is at least hope that a dysfunctional Liverpool side can be bested and we can give that big bald head of Arne Slot an almighty Tango-esque SLAP!

Predicted LineUp:
Areola

AWB Mavropanos Todibo Diouf

Potts Fernandes Paqueta

Bowen. Wilson. Guilherme (Summerville if fit)

Subs: Hermansen, Igor, Kilman, Magassa, Irving, Rodriguez, Earthy, Soucek, Fullkrug
Predicted Score: West Ham 1-3 Liverpool (Wilson) (Salah 2, Ekitike)

Desperately hope I'm wrong, but there's no better team to play when in the doldrums than the Claret and Blue gift.  Maybe Nuno can dispel the evidence of history, and stick one up them, and send them back with nothing but a few hubcaps! COYI!

We could have tried bombing forward in numbers early on but they would have done us on the counter imo. We dont have the squad for much more than a relegation scrap as simple as that.

I did think other than getting the Paqueta sending off right for his petulant reactions, near enough every decision went blatantly for Liverpool. Was a shocking Refereeing performance who's now added to the shit list. 📝

Can't agree with that. One of the rare good things usually about us and would rather he retire at the Club than sell him for a quick buck. I'd understand it if he wanted out (which he's never gave the impression) but if not definitely keep. Otherwise whats the point, really..

And yet it was okay for their players to wrestle ours ti the ground. Still, someone should be getting Paq away from the situation. Not just Bowen. It’s time for more players to step forward.

My t’pence worth of the game? On the positive side, I think our midfield of Potts, Fernandes and Magassa got better as the game went on. Good movement and aggression. Paq actually did well before he lost his head. Guilherme looked good when he came on. On the negative side, we didn’t do a lot up front. It was a frustrating day for Bowen and Wilson, and we were missing a proper forward on the left. It’s disappointing that we lacked ambition and were so powderpuff up front. We need Summerville back, we need Earthy on the bench, and we need another player who can play in the middle up front.

Fucking hell, that team may as well have just shat on Bill's grave if they wanted to show the lack of respect that performance did.

Paqueta, cսnt, I never want to see this cսnt in a West Ham shirt again.

Bowen, useless again today and a fucking dismal captain. Take that fucking armband off him.

Nuno, what the fuck was that today? Park the bus from fucking minute one? What are you doing you fuckin idiot?

The rest of them can fuck off too. What an awful fucking club this is and what a fucking insult this is on today of all days. I didn't expect to win, even though Liverpool were really quite poor, but I expected effort and urgency and a bit of passion. None of them had it, all of them are cunts as far as I'm concerned.

Looking back Bowen is trying to talk to the Ref to calm the situation and Fernandes is doing his level best to man handle him away only for Paqueta to continue on a war path for little reason. This is solely on Paqueta the selfish crybaby wanker. And of all days... 🤬

This is exactly the sort of gutless performance weve put up with from Moyes, Potter and Lopetegui why is no one at the club pointing this out as one of the main reasons for the unrest.

How hard is it for managers to attack a team that is low on confidence  its fucking obvious to every fan to see it but 4 managers in a row cant. Just doesnt make any sense!

Never got a shot on target.

Paqueta sent off might be a blessing if we had someone to come in for him was was athletic.

Game was decided by them having Isak a striker who took his one chance and a bench that all gets in our first team. We had some decent performers in Fernandes ( our best player), Potts and Magassa did alright, Areola good, most others worked hard. There was no service up top. Paqueta and Bowen trying to do too much and arguably our worst performers on the day.  We just didnt have the pace up top to cause any real problems and shows that our position in the table is correct.

Game was over once Paqueta decided to get sent off though and their  2nd goal always likely,  down to 10 and having to push forwards to try and get an unlikely equaliser.

The story rrmains the lack of squad depth and quality and thats on the owners and their dreadful lack of planning, recruitment etc

Bowen should be ashamed of himself for allowing that situation to get where it did, just drag him away and tell him he’s going to get sent off, instead he just stood there doing nothing, everyone could see head lost his head

Playing like twats? Can't buy a point? Come to West Ham... get your first points on the road since mid-September...

At least the great man didn't have to watch yet ANOTHER insipid performance. Imagine being in the dressing room when Billy walked back in on Paqueta...

Relegation is already a straight scrap between five clubs, and there's no evidence our prima-donna wankers are up for it at all..

Not a single sodding shot on target for their Keeper to save all game at Home against a shockingly out of form Liverpool low on confidence. Disgraceful from Nuno and players, especially off the back of that 2nd half capitulation to Bournemouth as well.

Paqueta is a disgrace, but anyone who think Bowen is captain material needs to watch that again. He could have and should have stopped that from escalating.

Even after he got the red, Jarrod was looking at him like he wanted to say something but didn't have the bollocks.
