This was England's record ODI innings for years.

Sad news, 62 is still middle aged these days.
Played in the same Hampshire side as Gordon Greenidge and Malcolm Marshall.
RIP

My younger brother died a few weeks ago, 67, didn't even have a chance to claim his pension. Life can be such a bitch.
RIP Robin, and condolences to your family and all who knew you.???????
You can claim state pension at 66 at mo so your statement is incorrect and makes me wonder why?
Sympathy IF your brother has passed, but somehow like most of your posts there is an element of bollocks about itWell. THAT didn't take long, did it?
What it does, inadvertently, tell you is the kiddie fiddling retard earns so little on his uber eats gig that any notion of a pension beyond the state one is such an unfathomable notion it doesn't even enter his mind.

Arthur Shrewsbury. The only man to hit a six over the pavillion at Lords.
In fairness to Swiss, the 'suicide is high among ex-cricketers' thing is real. I believe it actually applies to all ex-professional players of team sports

It's clear there's an issue within the game regarding mental health. Some survive and some don't. Can be a very lonely existence in that particular Sport with so much downtime away from home amongst other factors. Sad to see.

He lived in Perth & believe he met up with some of his old teammates at the Test & at the Lilac Hill game
Had a very serious drink problem for a long time … a bottle of vodka a day for 12 years … but understood he was on top of that
