Well after the disappointment of the Liverpool surrender-fest, next up it's the challenge of Man Utd away.

Amorim seems to have found a way to get them winning points, but their old challenges prevail, with unadventurous wing backs, a pedesitrian and hti and miss central midfield, and no consistent chance-creation plan.

Nuno has a reasonable record against Man Utd (I think I read somewhere) and despite the Bookies having made them huge favourites for this, this feels more likely to yield points than Liverpool.

For us, Paqueta is out. Summerville is out.  Rest of the squad is available.  Will Nuno give Luis G another go in the Sumemrville berth with Paqeta out and few attacking options available, or will he match up Man Utd with a back 3, and keep the improving Magassa in the side?  Can Wilson manage another game in such quick succession?

Predicted Line Up:
Areola

Wan Bissaka  Mavropanos   Todibo   Diouf

Magassa Potts

Bowen     Fernandes    Guilherme

Wilson
Subs: Hermansen, Kilman, Igor, KWP, Irving, Rodriguez, Soucek, Fullkrug, Earthy.

Predicted Scoreline:   I reckon we get something from this, although maybe a win proves beyond us?

1-1 (Bowen, Mbuemo).

Is he trying to push Soucek in the team, Soucek is the least likely replacement for liar Paqueta.
Not sure about the validity of this post.
The mentioned youth have been with the first team squad since Nuno took over.
want to see Earthy start and Marshall as first choice for Wilson.
Would love to minutes for all the other too.
Bring on the kids.

Nuno will roll out another red carpet for one of the 'big clubs' once again. The sort of fight and agression both Leeds and Sunderland showed last night is beyond him. Can you imagine if we had gone 5-1 down at home against City he would have got more defenders on to try and keep it at that rather than do what Fulham did and were only a goal line clearance away from getting a point.

So another defeat looming, fingers crossed obviously that I'm wrong, and with clubs just above us picking up points and looking like they may keep on doing so, its starting to look like the bottom 3 at the moment are likely to be there in May. FFS.

West Ham are again without Lucas Paqueta following his red card against Liverpool. His most obvious replacement is expected to be Tomas Soucek.Unfortunately the game is thought to come too soon for Crysencio Summerville to return to with a loose return date of Brighton given to us by club officials. Although even that looks quite ambitious with no one in the club actually able to give a definitive injury update.Youngsters Callum Marshall, Fin Herrick, George Earthy, Ezra Mayers, Airidas Golambeckis and Mo Kante have all travelled with the squad and are expected to form a youthful substitutes bench. It is thought that the manager wishes to have a look at some of these young players ahead of the January window and perhaps at the expense of some of the senior players that are expected to leave in the January transfer window (we will give you an update on this later).
I'd go 4-3-3 and stick Soucek up top flanked by Wilson and Bowen.

Potts, Fernandes and Magassa in midfield.

Nope, just a realist.
You're the negative one with supporting Negative managers.

Can't see Nuno getting the players to fight.Just watched the game of our other contenders.
Leeds are fighting and getting their rewards. Burnley are fighting maybe they will their reward too.
Wolves trying but are woeful we don't look any difference.
Sunderland made Liverpool look poor again.Took the game to them and defended stoically.
Show's that Nuno has got in tactics wrong in virtually every game bar 2.
He's confused in what to do now.
Park the bus doesn't work.More youth has looked better but he clearly doesn't trust them. He trust's the so called Genius only to be let down game after game. He likes a KWP as winger,
This game is far harder than against Liverpool but he'll do the reverse tactics.

Nuno should be showing videos of the other teams fight, drilling it in,attacking and yes having a shot on target,it does help.
Every team is beatable in this league.I want us to give it a try.

For me, the bench picked by Nuno against Liverpool said volumes about him as a manager, he picked proven slow shit players that offer nothing (bar Soucek) than take a chance on the likes of Earthy or Marshall. One things certain, we’re not going to get the required points to stay in this league with the likes of Rodriguez, Irving, Fullkrug, Kilman and Igor as subs, it’s ridiculous to even think we get anything with those. It’s cowardly choices.
I’m not Nuno out just yet but would like him to realise that we’ve given away a lot of points by going with his  ideas of our path to 40 points.
On one hand it’s good to see Sullivan and Brady’s chickens not only coming home to roost but fucking thriving, but it’s such a pity they’re proving their uselessness at our Club.

Man Utd win either way but it’ll be same old us or maybe us with a little hope for the remainder of the season. COYFI

Nuno's cowardly approach against Liverpool, coupled with results going against us last night has made this a must win game now.

Does anyone see anything other than a Man Utd win?

We essentially have no choice
What's the point? Even if we did that and got an early goal, all we would do is "park the bus" and invite wave after waver of pressure.

It's got to the point where 0-0 is a better scoreline going deep into games than being 1-0 up early.

Yes, thanks to Sullivan and previous managers we have a weak squad but this Portugeezer is not helping himself.  If he can’t start sending our lot out to scrap and fight for every ball from the start then they just might as well as not bother.

Apparently we should have been grateful for the effort they put in last game. For me it was still miles off the effort and desire needed and even after the death of a Club great we still coasted through it just being thankful they didn't score more than twice. Paquetas sending off summing it right up.

That is not what this Club should be about. Where's the real fight and bollocks for the cause?? The only time I've really seen it misdirected, is when either Paqueta has tried to have a row with the Ref or Bowen with our travelling faithful, or Nuno today biting when a Journo asks a straightforward question.. 💩

Tomorrow I want to see all of them fired up from the start giving it a proper go and test this weak Man Utd side and manager who's struggling to deal with their weight of expectation. Have a fucking go like newly promoted Leeds and Sunderland just did against quality sides!
