Paqueta also played in the 1-5 home defeat to Chelsea, the 0-2 home defeat to Liverpool, the 0-3 away defeat at Sunderland, the 0-3 home defeat to Tottenham. Etc., etc., etc.
So did the rest of the team so again you're talking bollocks
You're a bit dumb aren't you. My very point is that Paqueta didn't play in a bunch of games West Ham didn't lose.
Yep and we also didn't lose or won the previous times we played the same opposition with him in the team therefore the results didn't improve..
We didn't lose against Bournemouth but we won the previous two with him playing, see how fucking ridiculous your proof is, I'm the dumb one really

Yes, agreed he was excellent in that one game.

But if he was our best player this year it's not easy to see in the stats. We lost most of our games this year yet this is all the games he has missed in 2025 so far:

Arsenal 0-1 West Ham
West Ham 2-0 Leicester
Bournemouth 2-2 West Ham
Man United 1-1 West Ham
Clear evidence there that we are a better and more solid team without the showboating, cheating, diving, samba dancing Brazilian liability.

Only contributed to half the goals we've scored... Wtf... Take those goals away and where are we...

Always suspended 2 fucking games... Didn't Soucek get a 3 game ban..

No, I was told by someone else I was referring to that said he contributes close to almost all our goals, that's why I questioned it. And I didn't say he always gets suspended I said he keeps getting suspended because he just did again straight away after returning from a 5 yellow card suspension.
But anyway take them away and we're possibly Wolves, so yes he isn't as good as he should be and should do better but why leave him and his contributions out when we need them?
Because I seriously question his state of mind for obvious reasons. I'm actually genuinely concerned for the bloke as he's clearly struggled and the last match he played he proved he couldn't keep it together when we can ill afford for it to happen. We lose that game scoring nothing he doesn't play the next difficult game away and we score and draw without him. I genuinely think both he and us would benefit if he was available on the bench. It would also send the right message to others that you have to earn your place back especially after how he badly reacted. It feels a bit soon to chuck him straight back in to the fold but hopefully it works out and we can beat Brighton. He's going to be back under intense pressure, let's hope he manages to cope alright.

Even if we added his 4 goals he scored to those 3 challenges for the ball as well as the other 2, that's still contributing half the total amount we've scored. And this is supposed to be a Club record signing creative attacking midfielder on £150,000 a week who keeps getting suspended.

So out of the 18 goals we've scored so far this season, how many was his involved in passing moves resulting in goals? I can only think of 2, 1 against Burnley and another against Newcastle. Beyond that I'm struggling to think of amy others regardless of him having the last touch to assist goals.

I didn't say he was our best player this year, I said he contributes more than most but they don't get the stick he does. He gets the blame for everything but is one of our best performers and why he's straight back in the team... But what I do find bollocks is those claiming we're better without him and even bigger bollocks those saying he isn't a team player when he doesn't stop grafting.

Probably if we didn’t spend most of every game with less possession then our opponents and not defending on our 18 yard line then he would have a lot better stats.

The post said we absolutely missed him and gave clear evidence of not only that game but also his previous 58 games in a row where he doesn't contribute to a single assist, yet he is supposed to be our main creative attacking midfielder. And the fact we instantly got a very positive result and performance without him.

Hà ha it is, but I would pick him every time.

It's all very well saying we played better without him (we didn't) we've won 2 lost 1 and drawn 2 of our last 5, he played in both the wins...didn't win either game he didn't play in.. Was motm against Newcastle, he has won the ball back and more duals than anyone in our team which makes him our best defensive player and he's our joint top goal scorer, but yeah he brings nothing to the table.

Then in his absence the Team with rock bottom confidence immediately managed to earn a well earned 1-1 draw at Old Trafford of all places. That's nonsense from computer game football. He hasn't contributed to any assists? He's contributed to almost ALL our assists! Close to every single one. If you only count his contributions if he's the very last player to touch the ball then almost all of our players are shit and would also explain your love for Soucek who does next to nothing compared to Paqueta but does get occasional all important touches.

I was there on Sunday and loved watching him, he put a lot of work in and although he tries a lot of killer balls far too advanced for his mediocre team mates and loses the ball, he puts the graft into trying to get it back. Also love his back heeled no look passes and flicking it over a defender onto his own head to volley a near miss. With Kudus gone, he's the only player we have left who can get us excited.

Was he an idiot for getting sent off? Yes. Would a proper captain have prevented it? Probably. Is he our best player? By a mile. (Although Fernandes was on that day)

We don't only miss the good bits when he's not playing for us. We also miss the bad things too. I would say his presence undermines the fortitude and grit of the team and it's that which got us a draw.
